This was a marvellous and easy way to see the wondrous world of the coral reef in Kealakekua. The guidance is really good and the staff very friendly and helpful. A highly recommendable experience if you are not comfortable snorkeling on your own.

This snorkelling half day outing was excellent. Staff friendly and informative. Would recommend to family group. Breakfast and lunch served was good, the snorkelling great for novice, children and our elderly mum. Environmentally friendly sunscreen provided.

I researched several snorkeling tours as the lava rock along the Kona Coast make it treacherous to snorkel from shore. The large boat with steps leading to the water, snacks and location made the Fair Winds 3 1/2 hour afternoon excursion seem like the best choice. Our group could not have been more pleased. The Captain and crew were exceptional and made the adventure so enjoyable. In addition to the great 1 1/2 hours of snorkeling, we got to experience dolphins swimming in the wake and a large manta ray. Safe, fun and a must do activity when visiting the Island of Hawaii.

Rode out to Captain Cook Monument snorkel site with Fair Wind. Good snorkel spot with calm waters and decent variety of fish. Ride back and forth was pleasant and crew was very nice and helpful. Would recommend.

We went today on the morning snorkling trip and it was really a wonderful experience. The boat is spacious, the crew attentive and helpful, the snorkeling equipment was also good. It was easy to access the water via the stairs. Additionally the lunch, a BBQ was really tasty . I can highly recommend this tour.

Family of 5 went on afternoon snorkel excursion to Kealakekua Bay near Captain Cook monument. Top notch experience! Great place to snorkel with a very professional staff. Our captain was very interactive and provided helpful tips (provided advice and ginger snacks) to avoid sea sickness, which I thankfully avoided:-). It is an hour boat ride each way. However, the 90 minutes you get to snorkel is soooo worth it! Best snorkeling ever! Also, our family really enjoyed the diving board and the sliding boards off the boat as well!
