We took our 2 daughters aged 9 & 10 to tour the Sea Horse farm and they loved it. Our entire family enjoyed seeing the seahorses up close and holding them for a few minutes. It takes about 2 hours and tours are led by a biologist. Really great learning opportunity that is a ton of fun.
If kids are younger than elementary age it could be tough. The tanks are pretty high and while they have stools to boost kids, shorter kids may have a hard time. Also, it's a lot of listening for little ones. Check the minimum age to hold a sea horse. There is one, but I can't remember what it is.
