On a trip to the Big Island, we stumbled across an article in a magazine in our hotel room about the chef's counter that is available at the Beach Tree. We were lucky to be able to book this, and it was amazing! Chef Angela spoke with us on the phone in advance and planned a menu special for us, taking into account our favourite foods, allergies and dislikes. Every course was delicious, and it was such a great experience to be inside the heart of a very busy kitchen. The staff was genuinely happy to host us in the kitchen, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the activity. We started the evening by sabering a bottle of Prosecco and were able to make our own pasta course. I cannot wait to return to the Beach Tree, and would love to experience another memorable evening inside the kitchen. Each course had wine pairings, and we were even able to take home a special bottle of olive oil, custom made for the Beach Tree.
