We stopped here for a little relaxation and to sample some beers while we were in Kona while on our cruise on the Pride of America. We were too late to do a brewery tour...they were all full. (I think that you can reserve a spot online if you knew you were planning on making a stop here) The bar area was nice and we were surprised that it seemed to be a spot where locals come regularly. We assumed that this place would have been crawling with tourists, but it really wasn't. The locals we ran into were very friendly. We didn't eat here, but from what we saw the food looked good. We did a beer sampler, and really enjoyed the beers. We definitely enjoyed our stop, and would be enjoyed by any beer lover. Prices were pretty reasonable too. ***A tip for other cruise ship goers; we took the free shuttle to Hilo Hattie's and then walked to Kona Brewing which is basically about a block away. Saves you having to walk up the hill!
