“Visited all 3 while on Big Island!”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Yes, it is pricy. Yes, Mana on Maui is better. But... Their quality is great, and there are plenty of Gluten-free and vegan items. They sometimes have homemade GF lavender almond scones- yum!! The hot bar is good for a quick lunch. The butternut soup was disappointing, but the corn bread is delicious. The GF banana bread is from a local bakery, Buddha Belly. Try the pumpkin bread, too!

We visited all 3 of their stores while on the island, but the one in Kona is the best. And as an added bonus, the used book store behind the Kona location is fantastic! So well organized, helpful staff and it doesn't have that musty old book smell.

“Honestly not that Great.”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

But I'm giving it 4 stars anyway, because I'm really happy it's there. Have you ever been to the miracle that is Mana Foods on Maui? Well Mana shames this place with their prices and food quality. However, there is lots of variety at Island Naturals, but it's pretty expensive. The lilikoi cupcakes in the dessert section were not that great, oddly textured and funny tasting, the vegan carrot cake should be avoided, but the gluten free banana bread was pretty good. Didn't try the deli food but it looked pretty good.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

We love to eat organic, especially on vacation. We needed the extra energy due to all the diving, snorkeling, etc... Great prices, and a decent selection of fresh produce for Hawaii. They have wine also, which was a huge plus. TIP for the MANAGEMENT: Get Cilantro... you'd be the only people on the Island with it!
