We went out for breakfast here recently & had a really substantial meal for a fairly low cost in Kailua Kona. Coffe was brought out in enormous mugs & there was fresh cream to be had - refreshing in this day of artificial creamers cups. I could even get stevia to sweeten it - in fact, I was able to keep to my low carb diet restrictions easily here - So, if you do Atkins, or eat like a caveman, you'll have no problem finding a tasty meal here. the server immediately said 'no problem' when i politely asked if a protein could be added to my veggie omelet - which, by the way had a really nice mix of squash, red & green bell pepper, eggplant, carrots & onions in it,along with an interesting pesto made with mac nuts, & a very mild goat cheese. The side cup of fruit was generous & fresh. Husband departed from his usual, & ate a large half papaya with vanilla yogurt & a handmade granola. Awesome granola, not too sweet,& had nuts, If are looking for a bit of a tourist experience, they have a musician in the mornings also. service was prompt & friendly. return trip anticipated.
