We have walked in several areas here and wondered what the food at Sumo Deli was like. We went there for lunch with the intention of driving to another restaurant later. We had a choice of two entrees and two sides for about $7.00. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff was efficient and friendly. I had the fried breaded shrimp (2 pieces), Panko chicken strips, rice and cellophane noodles for $5.95 (special for the day)! . It was the cheapest lunch (and good, too) we had while we were on the Big Island. We did not have to go elsewhere after eating here. We were so full. It was popular among the locals.
