Stayed in building 3 for 9 days. The resort location is good. Keep on mind; no air conditioning. During hot Kona days and nights, this can get pretty uncomfortable. Our unit wasn't the greatest, so do your homework on your selection. Building's 1 and 4 are oceanfront, with building 1 facing the town, and with no parking lot backing up to it. All bedrooms face the stairs and parking lots, so it can get pretty noisy. Lots of kids at the small pool; great if you have kids; not so great if you're looking for quiet, relaxing pool time. This is our second time at this resort. First time, a great unit in building 4; this time, a not so great unit in building 3. Also, buildings 2 and 3 have little to no privacy on the lanai. Again, just do your homework.

Room Tip: Look into buildings 1 or 4!

Condo was a one bedroom that faced the ocean. The place was very clean. Kitchen was a little small but overall 4 people could easily stay here since there is a Murphy bed. The complex is 1.6 miles from the pier/downtown Kona-Kailua. Walking everywhere was quite easy. The service was great. Late check out is available for a fee. Really enjoyed this place.

My husband and I stayed here about 2 years ago, in May. We enjoyed our stay here, as other people stated it was a little out dated. We stayed on the ground floor in a 1 bedroom unit. It was clean enough and provided us with what we needed. Kona is a beautiful place, with lots to do. There is no beach off the resort, but we did climb over the rock wall by the pool and went snorkeling. We were also close enough to walk to all the restaurants.

I was in Kona with my son last August and we rented a condo at the Sea Village. It was perfect! The grounds are immaculate, the pool was nice and not crowded, the BBQs were nice and the ocean front view was spectacular! We would wake up every morning and watch the dolphins and dragon boat rowers. The condo is close enough to town- only about a mile. We would walk into town every day to get exericise, eat at the restaurants and purchase fresh fruit. This condo is also walking distance to several nice parks and beaches. The condo we were in had every essential needed for a nice stay. After we arrived on the island, we headed to Costco and loaded up on groceries. Although I don't really cook on vacations, it was nice to have an ocean view while in the kitchen. It made cooking thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this condo complex to my family and friends.

Sea Village resort has a nice circular lawn. It has lots of picnic tables and a private pool. Only the people with a special key can come in. The pool has some lawn chairs by it and is nice and quiet. and is great for exercising. there is lots of lots of geckos on the way to the pool. most are green with spots of red and blue.
