Beautiful church across the street from the palace. They do have church on Sunday. They do have donations and free stuff.

We attended the Sunday morning service here - the congregation is very welcoming to visitors and the church is both lovely and historically significant.

What happen to the beautiful chimes that rang at six in the evening? Every evening I waited to hear the melodious sounds... And when it did, my heart sang with it. It gave me a beautiful feeling inside. I keep praying for it to come back and echo thru the village of Kailua Kona.

If you are into Hawaiian history and religion as old as the original ministries who came to the Hawaiian islands, this beautiful church has history and a legacy going back hundreds of years.
