Always wanted to visit a coffee plantation and took the opportunity when on Big Island. Wife followed not to bothered but was really surprised just how good the tour was. The coffee smell as you walk in was heavenly. The climate is 20 degrees cooler so bear that in mind! Interesting and enthusiastic tour that will fully inform you about coffee and leave you wanting to buy loads!!!

I used to live in Costa Rica, so I have been on many coffee tours, but this one really was the best (unbelievable that it is free!!). I was a little put off at first because they shooed us out of the gift shop, but I am grateful that they did. This was truly a great educational experience and the tour helped me select the best type of coffee for me. A socially and environmentally responsible family run business...go visit, learn about the coffee and bring home some great gifts! They also have some delicious samples.

It was nice informative tour of their coffee making process, but the tour itself was very limited. I would recommend visiting because it is very educational and interesting about a product that is so famous in HI, and also its totally free with tons of samples. Nice way to kill time if your waiting for your flight.

While there is no roasting facilities, we had a very informative and enjoyable visit and lesson on the coffee plants and beans. The young woman who talked to us seemed to know all about the process, and was able to answer all our questions.

We enjoyed this tour, although we would have liked to have seen more than just videos on a an endless loop, then a quick tour of a coffee tree, the roasting room and the gift shop. Our guide was obviously knowledgeable about the plantation and processes, but she spoke a bit too fast for our family from Europe. They are fluent in English, but had trouble keeping up with speed of the information, and there was little time to translate for them without missing something else. We enjoyed the coffee samples and bought some beans to bring home, but we would have liked to have seen more of the plantation.
