“Good food with a view”
Reviewed June 13, 2014

The restaurant is very casual and there is seating that overlooks the ocean. It's a good place for lunch and the sandwiches and fries were very good. Services was excellent. It wasn't too crowded when we walked in and there was plenty of seats but it was mid-afternoon. In the evenings, it gets more crowded for happy hour and dinner and there is music at night. It was always crowded in the evenings so is a popular spot. It was recommended to us by a local and we were not disappointed. For a casual eating place, it is quite good.

“Best fish sandwich!”
Reviewed June 7, 2014 via mobile

We had an awesome lunch here. Fresh catch (today is Mahi Mahi) sandwich was to die for. Best fish we had all week including last week in Maui. You can eat on the 'ledge' tables overlooking the water. Adorable gecko was hanging out, but they put a little jelly packet so he just eats that. Won't get anywhere near you. Husband got the coconut shrimp & that was awesome too. Prices are very reasonable compared w/ other places on the island. It's Hawaii, so you cannot compare prices to mainland.

“Excellent venue for a group”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

Our group of 11 family and friends, including two children, came in off the street for dinner. The staff were very busy but could not have been more helpful in arranging a table for us and providing excellent service. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel, befitting the seaside location. There was pleasant live music in the background and everyone enjoyed their meals, which were served with care and efficiency.

“Robinson Crusoe's dining room”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

Entire waitstaff and hostess work as a team to invite you into this restaurant. Happy hour burger or pizza special with a pint of beer for $10.00 is a delicious bargain on Kona's water front. Have tried fresh ahi (tuna) with vegetables and garlic mash, calamari, garden burgers, spinach pizza, shrimp fajitas and coconut shrimp...love them all especially after a day on the beach.
Dining solo you never feel out of place and frequently start up conversations with fellow patrons visiting or locals.

Management is keen to offer introductory 15-20% off meal discounts at the entrance.

Excellent experience.
