This is one of the few places that really was better than expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful.A big plus for me was the Marine Sports Diving Center right by the hotel. The beach was nice and clean(pebbled). And there was facilities for my 2 year old.Food was good.We took the all-inclusive light and it was great value for money.

My whole family enjoyed it.

We stayed in this hotel last year in july 2012 and we were very pleased. The beach was great, the food was good, everything was good, just parking was expensive (5 EUR/day although we had all inclusive for a lot of money, we had to pay extra for the parking). So we decided to go again in july 2013. We made early reservation and they confirmed it. First we got the wrong room ( the reservation was made for family premium 44m2, we got classic with 22m2). We have quickly resolved this problem and got the right room. The next disapointment was the food. We had all inclusive offer and this year it was terrible (The wine was cheap and warm, not dinkable, the food was spicy, poor quality and the same for the whole week, no variety ( pommes and fries every day, twice a day. For lunch we ate what was left from dinner last night. Only the breakfast and sweets were good.) We couldnt belive, what change with food was made from the prior year.
The next disapoitment was the parking fee ( 10 eur/day, althow we payed 1800 EUR/6 days for the hotel).
The swimming pool needs a lot of maintenance (rust and mold in the pool area).
Rooms needs maintanence( broken shower, broken sink, broken closet doors).
This year the only good thing was a realy nice beach and very clean sea with a great weather.
The whole stuff was also very friendly, they told us for a chiper parking space, clos to the hotel (5EUR/day). Especialy the animators in the teens club were great with children.

Room Tip: For familys premium family room (two ajoint rooms 44 m2) on the first floor.

I normally don't like big hotel buildings and prefer small, intimate ones. However, as our hotel was closed due to renovation, they changed our booking to the Hotel Marina. We arrived late at night (4 a.m.) but were greeted friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and nice, the hotel itself big but nicely decorated and with a large wellness area. At breakfast, you can choose among a huge variety of foods, but the atmosphere is rather canteen style, due to the amount of people staying there. They offer plenty of animation programs for kids, so as a family the hotel is probably a safe bet.

Me and my GF stayed in late May 2013 over weekend. The first impression is not real - the building is from outside not quite new, but the interior is more modern and renovated. Also the rooms looked nice, nothing fancy (TV, safe, closet, bathroom). As for the cleaning - we had nothing to complain.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area could be in better shape, but you can't have it all. The spa area is more modern, but we didn't try it.
The dinner and breakfast were very fine. Lots of food was available and drinks also (dinner with free beer and wine, soda, juices).
Only one problem - parking is quite expensive...
As for the surroundings - 2 paths are for walking, but since it was rainy all the time, we didn't explore much.
Bottom line: great for some weekend battery recharge.

We arrived in hotel and lady receptionist was very friendly and polite. Rooms were renovated but with many small detailed mistakes. On the floor all over the hotel were bleach stains, not dirty but not nice to see. Food was good, a lot of choice and buffet is stright A for this sort of hotel. Very good food! Hotel staff was in general friendly, older guy in bar with big smile was the best. We've received some not so nice looks because we requested extra service which we paid extra as prices were for this sort of offer. Maybe because waitress had to go from her routine. Service-fruit juice was disaster with peals of orange inside included, they made mistake and said they are sorry, no problem and we did not had to pay for fresh fruit juices, we did not drink it either. SPA in hotel is nice with many treatments, small but optimal and good looking. City is tipical traditional fisher village with very good fish restaurant Kod Benita. On the last day we checked out, they automaticly charged us parking place 10€/day despite we did not park inside, (YOU DONT HAVE TO EITHER, JUST LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE OUTSIDE RAMP)we inform them about that and received not so nice looks from bald Macedonian receptionist with fake Levis glasses, no Im sorry, no good bye, no thank you for staying with us,... So sorry that this last event ruined quite nice memories on this hotel. Despite quite few ugly staff looks it was OK in general.

We visited hotel Marina for a weekend getaway , and hotel Marina has been a good decision . The exterior of the hotel is a bit outdated, but the interior is renovated and is modern, especially the Spa, which is one of the highlights of the hotel.
The highlight of the hotel is the diner. I have visited a lots of hotels around the world and hotel Marina has the best diner I have ever eaten in a hotel. There is plenty to choose from, and you can eat things that you normally choose in a ala' carte restaurant . The breakfast is also quite good.
The rooms are also renovated.
The hotel is located on a pebble beach.
The only negative thing of the hotel is the parking, which is quite expensive for the off season.

Although the usual choice is summer, because Mošćenička Draga is proud of one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on Adriatic, we visited this small fishermen's village near Opatija and Rijeka in April determined to relax a bit and charge our batteries making a break from our busy lives. And we didn't regret it. I can't say the rooms were luxurious, but the price was very good and we had everything we needed. There was a small problem with the closet door but they had it repaired by the time we got back from our stroll along the beach. The staff was at all times friendly, welcoming and professional.
The building itself is a bulky socialistic structure but the interiors have recently been refurbished and modernised. I was really impressed by hotel Marina's Wellness and Spa area. The atmosphere, design and a wide range of relaxing experiences make you want to never leave.
The food in Marina was exquisite. I haven't visited too many hotels in Croatia, but from the ones I have, Marina's dinners were definitely the richest and tastiest!
If I had to name anything negative, then I'd probably say there was a bit of unpleasant smell of moist in turkish sauna and the saunas didn't have any means of time measuring. But looking at the experience as a whole, I can even ignore that because everything else was just great.
