We have eaten dozens of times in Fancita and previously in Buffet Molo in Koversada where the proprietor was one of the partners. We have not been there for two years, but hardly a week goes by without one of us saying how much we miss it. I have not eaten a pizza that was as good since I was there, not even the ones I make myself.
Many of the dishes, and certainly the help yourself salads, are as good as or better than you will find anywhere in Vrsar or nearby but you need to go more frequently than you can eat pizza because it is otherwise very difficult to avoid ordering one. When I have managed to do that, the grilled squid (Ligne) was the next best option. Sometimes we shared one as a starter and had a pizza each as well.
Another frequent customer calculated that the large pizzas are good value, and they will wrap what's left in foil if you want to take it away.
Pizzas are delivered. We have been there in March and November and we know that when the tourists are gone the locals are still collecting their pizzas and having them delivered. We have several times had them delivered not only to an apartment, but to our camping place or to a location on the nudist beach.
The chefs manning the charcoal pizza oven have to work very fast at times to keep up with demand and there are hundreds sent out on busy evenings.
The rocket (Arugula) and some other things comes from the garden. That's means fresh and tasty. There is no roast pig, but the pigs have changed and are not what they were 40 years ago.
