The hotel met our expectations in every way. Rooms were clean, renovated. The cuisine was superb, variety of dishes and every one delicious as well. Overall a pleasant stay.
Slighty disappointing was the fact the hotel offerred only concrete beach in front of the building and nearby beach Drazica was crowded all the time. Partly of period of stay - first week of July and partly of its sharing with the camp.

We had a great room overlooking the beautiful Adriatic. This is one of a group of hotels that have great bars and restaurants along the waterfront. Biograd Na Moru is a great spot and very popular with locals. It was a plus that we were virtually the only native English speakers around (staff mostly speak good English). We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Stayed only for one night on a business trip. Got a room with a balcony facing the Adriatic and the nearby islands, the view was great. The room is light and appropriately fitted for a leisure hotel and was clean and pleasant. Internet only available in the lobby, which is a shortcoming to this hotel. Breakfast was ok, in a spacious room, full of daylight.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights at the begining of September.
First we noticed that the room was dirty, although we checked in around 3pm.
There were lots of stains on the upper side of the bed and on every single door within the room - all wooden parts were dirty. Then we noticed the smell from sewers and bathtub was leaking water all over the bathroom. Walls are pretty thin, we could hear everything that was happening in other rooms and on the hallway (it added some portion of fun though :)). Only towels were changed, not the shampoo or soaps. There is not "do not disturb" sign, doors are locked with classic key. That means: keep the key in the lock during the time you're in the room. Otherwise you can expect a visit from cleaning lady...she tried to enter two times between 8 and 10am :) Best thing was the breakfast - different kinds of food, fresh, tasty...But that's really not enough for a 4 star hotel. And the price is exactly like it should be for a 4 star place. We should have been staying at the hotel Adriatic (few meters from Ilirija) but they moved us to this one - due to lack of guests.
Pros: great location, great breakfast
Cons: dirty room, low service level, offers much less than it should for the price

We stayed in this hotel for a one night layover and didn't have much time to spend there. The hotel was okay, a little on the basic side. It did sit on the water, which was nice. Our room was average, nothing fancy, but acceptable for our purposes. The bathroom was small, but the walk-in shower was actually pretty nice. Everything was clean. Our major complaint was that the thermostat for the air conditioning was programmed so that it could not be lowered under 25°C (77°F). We thought that was a cheap thing for the hotel to do. The room doors also slammed very hard. The breakfast buffet was just alright. There was no parking left when we arrived so they had us park the car right outside the entrance. If you want a nice hotel for multiple nights, then I probably wouldn't recommend it, but for a layover it is suitable.
