We booked this Hotel for a 3 night stay on our tour of California. As a base it was more than adequate, staff friendly and helpful and nice pool area. We spent 1 day touring Joshua and 2nd day shopping at Outlet Mall 1 hour away, on way back completed Joshua from the South entrance and still had plenty of time to sit and enjoy sunshine. Breakfast as good as most Motels we stay at and a good location for Nattional Park. All 3 nights were very quiet and Room OK with good Bed.

Room Tip: We had free room upgrade as Rewards club members.

We stayed in this clean, comfortable hotel after locking our keys (inadvertently) in our car at the National Park! The staff kindly found us a room, and helped us sort our our confusion at booking a different Best Western....at the other end of the Park! We really enjoyed our stay, slept beautifully, and want others to know this is a great oasis if not camping in the Park. Thank you! In particular, the kindness of the staff made this a perfect antidote to our mess up with our car.

Room Tip: Our room was quite clean; if you have young kids and want easy access to the pool in the back, ask for one near the pool.

There is not a lot of accommodation choice (that we were aware of) close to Joshua Tree National Park and this motel was recommended. It was adequate but there is nothing particularly to commend it (though we did get breakfast and were not expecting that). Our booking was for a King room - the bed was more a UK kingsize - better than a queen, but not the expected big American king.

Staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. Room was clean, updated, and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was more than adequate. Would definately stay again at this hotel.

Clean roorms and very nice pool area (outdoor). It bothered me that the hallway doors were propped open (no guest key entry). The room was not fully airconditioned upon arrival so it took some time to cool down. The breakfast was very tasty (scrambled egs, and sausage and tacitos and cereal) but they made smooties on request which were very good. Good experience for the discounted price -- call ahead and bargain for the AAA or military rate or ask for the best possible rate.
