If you are close, this is totally worth a stop. Very eclectic, check out the outhouse, take a walk through the gallery and be sure to walk the grounds and see all the cool artwork placed around.

This is desert style living at it best. It is art, it is different, it is eclectic, it is fun, it is an old rabbit farm. Don't just drive by take 15 minutes and stop by for a visit. Some one is usually there from 1 to 5pm Tuesday thru Sunday. The little church and grave yard of sins will put a smile on your soul.

When you first come upon the Glass Outhouse Gallery, one's first impression might be "Huh? No way an art gallery could be here!" But, step inside Laurel and Frank's carefully constructed building and you will find quality and intriguing local art in a well lit, lovely space. The surrounds have many quirks and humourous installations to make you ponder as you stroll property and enjoy some expansive desert vistas. Laurel enjoys the company and is always up for a good story. The monthly opening receptions arewell attended and fun with live music and fresh art to muse over. And yes, there really IS a functioning OUTHOUSE that looks like a phone booth. What a view while you 'do your business' and no one can see you in there. If you are passing through the Wonder Valley area just east of 29 Palms and right before the airport, definitely stop by and have a look around. You won't be disappointed.

I always enjoy going out there every month to view their new art displays. A great place out in the desert to view beautiful works of art while listening to music and socializing with others. There is a neat little trail that is a must see, don't miss the banjo players and skeleton gym.
