We got 2 rooms and the kids were in heaven. Very high ceilings, trendy decor, BIG full complementary breakfast, swimming pool, BBQ's. A very family friendly place with a great staff.

This hotel is very close to the most interesting part of the Joshua Tree park. The room was really a spacious suite, modern and clean. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the terrace besides the outdoor pool after a long day of driving.
Within a few minutes driving there are quite some options for dinner. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the Bistro Twentynine (friendly service and delicious italian cuisine).
To our opinion this hotel offers the best value for money for a 3-star category hotel close to the national park.

After 4 days of camping and sucking dust in Joshua Tree this Hotel was like paradise. The check in person Diane was friendly and fun to talk with. The room we had was super clean and modern looking. The room is large with a sitting room and separate bedroom area. Full length mirrors and large bathroom. In the morning there is a very good breakfast with choices like eggs, sausages, bagels, pastries, cereal, fruit and excellent coffee. The pool area is good too. We did a hot tub and swim after breakfast and both were the right temperature. There is also an on site laundry if you need it. We paid $135 for our room. I'm sure you can find something cheaper but you are not going to enjoy all the amenities that this Hotel provides. Considering all you get it is really a good value. I highly recommend the Fairfield.

Room Tip: Make a res in advance.

We were in the area doing business with the Marine base - the reason other than Joshua Tree that most people use this hotel. I have, frankly, not had a better hotel experience. The hotel is under 2 years old and is very new. The rooms and lobby smell like new. Everything is in tip-top condition but more importantly, the staff is incredible. Each and every person in this hotel goes out of his/her way to make conversation, chit-chat, ask about services or to offer recommendations. The front desk staff came to know us and would follow up on their restaurant recommendations. The continental breakfast is under-valued as it is more than just bagels. They served coffee all day and had hot items (eggs, bacon or sausage, and make-your-own waffles as well as quiche and breakfast sandwiches to microwave). I travel a lot for business and this was one of the best experiences that I have had.

Room Tip: The king suites are very roomy.

This is a relatively new hotel located quite close to Joshua Tree. Facilities and room were clean and kept up. The staff were quite helpful. If you are bored or tired after a day at the park, they have a good collection of free videos. Quiet - didn't experience the noise reported by some other reviewers.

The breakfast was quite good - better than most served by chains.
