“Easy Review”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

Some don't need to be long: they stuffed you with food, all of it good. Very friendly service and priced right. Don't be put off by the modest exterior, this is a bar-b-que place after all, not the Ritz. If you like ribs, don't miss this place.

Hint: unless you are very very hungry, the half slab will be enough

“real american experience”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

The rib plate was huge, and so were the starters. The jalapeno peppers were amazing. The tacos with the spinach guacamole dip was good but it was so big it would have been enough for 4 people, not for one as a starter. The owner was very friendly. Loved this place!

“Very nearly like Southern cooking”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

The food, service, and ambiance reminded me of some of my best dining experiences in Louisiana, Mississippi, & Alabama. Everything was simple yet beyond yummy. Even the left-overs,which virtually everyone took home with them were to die for. Everything we tried was simply scruptuous. The prices seemed more than fair for the fare, as well.

“Great food”
Reviewed December 22, 2013 via mobile

Don't let the restaurant's facade and decor deter you from sampling this meat lovers paradise.

I ordered the New York steak and it was cooked to perfection. My friend had the babyback ribs which looked simply Devine and had I not been delighted with my own serving, would have left me with food envy.

Service was good and the price was value for money.

“Surprisingly excellent steak and yes! Peach cobbler!”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

I ordered from here twice. The first time was an actual sit down meal at their location. The second time was a call in delivery order. The first time I opted to try the ribs, since the place is named The Rib Co. duh! And let me just say, I was satisfied to learn that this place seems to focus more on how the ribs are cooked and seasoned instead of slathering them with tons of bbq sauce. The ribs are excellent! The second time I ordered a Steak cooked medium and it was absolutely perfect. There was only ONE small mistake. I also ordered the peach cobbler which came with a side of vanilla ice cream. And even it was excellent, however they forgot to include a spoon! Just a fork. But honestly considering how good the food was and how FAST the delivery was, I'm willing to totally look over that small oversight. If you come here to 29 Palms you MUST eat here and try the ribs.
