For years, this was the favourite hotel of my parents in law. This year, we decided to travel with a group of friends to this hotel: 7 adults, a teenager and 2 smaller children. The hotel has several family rooms, so you would think ideally for a family trip. WRONG! The restaurant manager is enormously rude, making several comments to the children: “you better eat, then you don’t make noise” which is strange because there were groups of adults making more noise when laughing. Or “what is that with your plate” because there were still leftovers on the plate. This absolutely was not meant as a joke. This man is 100% incompetent for this role, but is part of the family who runs the hotel. Also in the swimming pool the children were not welcome. Having fun was forbidden for them, they were only allowed to shut up and swim from one side to another. Not easy for a 6 year old. And they were not that noisy: the water fountains from the pool make more and a more irritating noise than they made.
I can understand that a hotel wants to focus on adults, but then they need to say this in advance!

In the room and in the hotel are purely. My number was free upgrade for more expensive. The staff are warm welcome and smiling. The location are very convenient 150 meters from the main ski gondola. There are free parking spaces near the hotel and underground parking. the only inconvenience is a small pool, but for the size of such a hotel it is quite decent, there is a lot of different saunas. The dinner deserve a separate word of gratitude. I'll definitely recommend Hotel Regina for everyone!

Room tip: Corner suites are larger

4 adult party to Solden staying at this lovely hotel. Good points: Friendly and helpful staff. Large well equiped rooms, we were kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with own sauna. Within easy walking distance to gondola. Clean tidy throughout. Spa area with indoor pool included in price. Boot room. Very nice food.
Not so good points: Room was at front and on main road so noisy overnight if you like the window open.
A la carte food, although lovely, becomes monotonous every day. We started to crave "Proper hearty food"
No drink making facilities in suite...take a travel kettle if you like tea. Bar is very nice but a short walk down the road will get you much cheaper drinks.
Overall we were all more than satisfied with the hotel and it's staff.

The worst service i ve ever experienced in my life. We went to spa and took bathrobes leaving 30 euro as deposit which is supposed to be returned by the end of our holiday. After 1 st spa visit i left bathrobes at the reception. We decided to go to spa the next day and asked for bathrobes. The receptionist denied to give me them saying that i need to pay additional 30euro as a deposit. I tried to explain that it was misunderstanding but she didnt want to listen, took 30 euro, shouted at me and through banknotes to my face.
