With most places in town closed at 2 PM, we ended up at Corso for our late lunch and had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant was pretty basic, but the food was turned up a notch. The chef salad with tuna and feta cheese offered delicious flavoring, while the sportsman salad with chicken and yoghurt was fresh and tasty. Then came the pizzas - if you prefer a more American-style crust (not super thin), you will be very pleased (as we were). Although far from the best pizza we've eaten in the world, Corso is on our short list for a respectable pizza find in Europe. By typical Austrian standards, I'd say the salads were slightly over-priced, but the pizza was in line with expectations. Overall, I would be happy to eat here again and tell others to give it a try.
