Exactly what an Austrian mountain lunch should be.
Venue has lots of character, the atmosphere was very friendly and the food excellent with the portions (especially desert) generous. Wine was a little pricy but not out of line with other places locally.
Some might find it slightly cheesy with all the staff dressed in traditional Austrian attire but inside the place certainly carries it off and I for one enjoyed the awkwardness of the guy serving us pre-lunch drinks in the outside bar in his full lederhosen.
One other thing is during the time we were there - February half term - you certainly do need to book.
