“Perfect place to stay!”
Reviewed February 23, 2012

We stayed here for a long weekend and my first time in St. Anton. The hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent and there was a variety of choices at each meal. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and we loved relaxing in the sauna and steam room. Friends who stayed at another hotel nearby came to visit and were also impressed with this hotel, especially compared to where they stayed. We will definitely be returning to St. Anton and I am confident that there is no other place we would stay.

My daughter and I stayed here for a weeks' skiing in St Anton. We really loved the design - not at all Tyrolean. It's very high quality but very relaxed and not at all stuffy. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and warm. The restaurant offered a choice of main dishes, and several other courses, seved by happy and efficient staff. Breakfast offered a wide choice from cereals and fruit to cheese and meats, a selection of lovely bread and the option of something cooked.
The hotel shuttle to the village worked very well so we were always on the lifts before the queues got too long in the morning, and we never had to wait to get back in the afternoon.
Alex and Sabine have a very fine hotel to which I would return, and would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend during our first ski trip to St Anton. The service was very good from the start. Someone met us at the railway station and took us to the hotel the late on the evening we arrived. The food was excellent. Breakfast buffets were always well stocked and you could even press your own fresh orange juice. Dinner was an absolute delight every evening, tasty and extremely well presented. A free hotel shuttle service can take you to and from and the ski lifts in the morning and afternoon. When we felt like walking, the hotel is only 10 minutes from the centre...We will certainly go back and the next time we're in St Anton.

We stayed here mid January 2012, We really enjoyed the hotel, and unusually I really enjoyed having half board, and we ate in the hotel every evening, the food was good and the menu changed each night, there is a choice of main courses, one meat, fish, vegetarian the rest of the courses, the other courses there is no decisions to make but as I said these change nightly. Everyone was very friendly especially Alex, the shuttle bus was helpful although it stops a little too early in the day at 17:30, so after that a taxi from the centre is €8 plus tip or there is a number 3 bus which stops about 400/500 metres past the hotel, and then its a gentle walk down hill, of course though in normal shoes - not in ski boots as the hotel has a place to store skis and boots in the centre of town, the only one thing about the hotel I didn't like were the mattresses, we asked for a double bed and it was basically two singles pushed together, which moved as soon as the middle was laid on, as I was leaving I mention this to Alex and he said next time he will put a one piece mattress over the top of the other tow to cure this, so if you want a double ask for this. The rooms are big enough, with a seating area and plenty of space to put equipment and luggage, it is a very modern styled hotel with some wood touches.

Room Tip: All rooms identical, I was told.

This is a surprising hotel in the Austrian Alps: very design, lots of beton and glass.
The rooms are spacious and the window allows an amazing view on the mountains... even from your bath you can enjoy the view!
Very good food, nice atmosphere and valuable service: the hotel drives you to the sloapes and picks you up in the evening.
Perfect stay for design lovers.

We stayed here on our ski trip. A fantastic relaxed hotel. Staff were wonderful and always very helpful. The service was great. Food was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. Evening meals were 5 courses, but we were not overfaced. As soon as we asked for a lift to the ski area we were taken immediately and we never waited more than 2 minutes when we asked to be picked up in the evening. We were dropped off and picked up from the ski hire shop where we were able to leave our boots and skis each evening, even though we had only hired skis. It was only a minutes walk from the ski hire shop to all the lifts. The rooms were immaculate. Very good value for such a high standard of accommodation with outstanding food. We will certainly return.

Stayed for 4 days. Wonderful staff, super helpful, food is great, ambiance is great. Nothing seemed to be any trouble and they helped us with our large group needs, rides to meetings, train station, etc. Location / proximity to main village and gondola is super easy. Modern feel and most rooms have great views.
