If you want to know what St.Anton has to offer for the apres-ski scene, after a long skiing day you should definitely stop by Mooserwirt.
During the day, it is nice to go there for lunch. It has good food (huge portions) for rather decent prices. The atmosphere is very laid back.
Later, starting from 4pm the music gets louder and louder and the place gets more and more crowded by people drinking beers and shots, singing typical apres-ski songs, dancing in the skiing (snowboard) boots and just having fun. The party goes on everywehere - in the big terrace outside and in the Hütte. However, you should expect to pay a bit more for drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) than in other skiing areas. Just see it as a sort of a "real apres-ski experience tax" :)
The place can also be a bit "dangerous" in a sence, that after a party you still have to find back your skies (or snowboard) and to go down the slope preferably without injuries (fortunately - the slope that you have to cope with is not a difficult one). An advice would be to count your beers and shots and not to wait until it gets too dark. It sounds a simple thing to do, but once you are in, it is not so easy to tell yourself to go home already. However, I've heard that it is possible to get a cab from there (in case anyone is really no longer capable to ski down).
