“A "most-visit" place in St.Anton”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

If you want to know what St.Anton has to offer for the apres-ski scene, after a long skiing day you should definitely stop by Mooserwirt.
During the day, it is nice to go there for lunch. It has good food (huge portions) for rather decent prices. The atmosphere is very laid back.
Later, starting from 4pm the music gets louder and louder and the place gets more and more crowded by people drinking beers and shots, singing typical apres-ski songs, dancing in the skiing (snowboard) boots and just having fun. The party goes on everywehere - in the big terrace outside and in the Hütte. However, you should expect to pay a bit more for drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) than in other skiing areas. Just see it as a sort of a "real apres-ski experience tax" :)
The place can also be a bit "dangerous" in a sence, that after a party you still have to find back your skies (or snowboard) and to go down the slope preferably without injuries (fortunately - the slope that you have to cope with is not a difficult one). An advice would be to count your beers and shots and not to wait until it gets too dark. It sounds a simple thing to do, but once you are in, it is not so easy to tell yourself to go home already. However, I've heard that it is possible to get a cab from there (in case anyone is really no longer capable to ski down).

“Got to be the place for apres ski”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Visited again this ski season, just as loud, cheesy and busy. This year there has been an addition 'gangham style' in ski boots. So much fun with an Erdinger in one hand and a 'whip' in the other!
FANTASTIC.

“A "St Anton" must.......”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Any trip to St Anton is not complete without a visit to the Mooserwirt. Not only do they offer some of the best apres ski on the slopes, they also offer an extensive menu at reasonable prices. So whether it is gluhwein and beer after a hard days skiing or goulash soup and a hot chocolate for lunch, this place really does offer something for everybody. Don't forget the shop too, a chance to bring home the latest piece of piste wear, styled and branded of course to this iconic place.

“'Must visit' apres ski place”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

This is a St. Anton apres skis classic, so would recommend to visit once, as it is truely spectacular.
I'm personnally not a keen fan of apres ski Moserwirt style, and don't find the interior of the place very appealing, but really like the food, so we occasionally take our lunch breaks there. Huge portions, very tasty and excellent value for money.
