One of the best hotels in the Alps I've ever been. The service was great, rooms were very nice with the balcony and the view, good breakfast, great location - what else can you ask for? Vielen Dank! Fam. Kurkinen & Fam. Heliö

Friendly family run Austrian style hotel with good location high up in Nasserein. 5 minutes to the gondola with possibility of ski in. Clean room and good beds. Some rooms with great view of the impressive mountans. Erik Oslo
This was our third trip - and it wont be our last! Last time we brought our 6month old boy, and Rainers sister Simone babysat for us every morning. At that time, we had never left our baby in anyone elses care but the love and care she gave our boy was amazing. The family are so friendly and helpful that we would never stay anywhere else in St.Anton. Rainer is always available for help and advice with routes and runs for the next day, Elizabeth is a perfect hostess and all together, they really give you the feeling of being at home whilst on holiday. The facilities are perfect and very close to the free ski bus over the road - and if the snow is good enough being able to ski to your door is wonderful! This is simply the best value holiday place you could ever stay whilst on a ski trip - that combined with the amazing skiing available in St.Anton mean that we need never look for an alternative place to stay and ski.
This place is run by a traditional Austrian family who are very warm and friendly. Rooms have amazing views of the mountain and rooms are very nice and clean. Only downside would be the hotel is about a 10-15min walk to the village. 5-10min to gondola which takes you right up to the center of the mountain. Can ski back to the hotel and to the gondola, however when we were there, the snow wasn't the best, so these trails were very icy!
Overall a great place to stay, excellent hopitality and food!
This was the second time we stayed with Rainer and his family. The first without kids the second time with our 4 and 6 year olds. The customer service, ambience, rooms, breakfast and its traditional Austrian culture are amazing. This is the best service we have ever received in a hotel and it makes you feel like you are he most special person staying. Rainer was always around to have a chat and teach the kids how to speak German (correctly), he also organised takeaways for us if the kids crashed early. The rest of the staff were also really lovely, Rainer's mum fussed lovingly over all the kids and provided the most efficient laundry service ever experienced. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. I cant express what a little special nugget this place is but we will be returning! We didnt manage to get the recipe but also make sure you try the homeade Goualsh and strudel!!
Thank you for the nice review. We hope to welcome you again in the near future.
We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Ernst Falch. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are a good size with plenty of storage space. There are nice views over the town and the surrounding mountains. It is a very traditonal, quiet, cosy family run hotel, with a lovely atmosphere.
The hotel is located a short distance from the Nasserein lift you can either walk down (about 10 mins with ski boots on) or you can get the bus which runs every half an hour at peak times. You can also ski down most of the way. You can ski back at the end of the day, but we didn't do this much as usually went for an apres ski drink.
Rainer was brilliant, he couldn't have been more helpful providing us with information about the town, pistes, restaurants, guides etc. He was the nicest, most helpful hotel manager we have ever come across, not just in the alps, but in any of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in across the world. He appeared to be omnipresent in the hotel throughout our stay, and even got up at 0530 the morning of our departure to offer us breakfast and ensure our taxi arrived on time! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and obliging.
The breakfasts were ample, the standard european continental breakfast, juices, youghurts,
cereals, fruits, and a large selection of hams, cheeses, breads and rolls. Fresh coffee and OJ served to the table, along with free range boiled eggs. It was provided at sensible hours, from 0730 to 1030, for those that didnt want to hit the slopes too early.
The town is outside of the hustle and bustle so a nice refuge if you are there more for the skiing than the partying. However it is an easy walk into the town centre to sample the restaurants and nightlife (about 15 mins walk).
We had a fantastic stay and would love to come back again.
