A lovely welcome at reception on arrival. We were early but the rooms were soon accessible.
The other reviews say it all really. Good food, clean spacious accommodation but it was the staff that helped to make us feel so welcome.
Thank you especially to Frank and Annika who served us. David and the other chefs and to Josef who all added to a fantastic stay at Hotel Lohmann

We felt the need to review this hotel whilst we are still here. Amazing. Great location 5 mins walk to the lifts (in your boots). Staff are some of the friendliest people we have met. The food is plentiful and very tasty. Already checking prices for next year. Oh and plenty of snow in the resort.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our one year old. The people are very helpful and friendly. Everything we needed that wasn't in the room was brought upon request in no time. The environment around the hotel is also amazing.

Also in summer they include the Öztal premium pass which comes in really handy when you want to go up and down with the gondolas and other great money saving deals.

The food was also very good! breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. We got our own table which made it really easy for our son.. He walked to his seat whenever we went to the restaurant.

There is also a gondola really close to the hotel going all the way up to 3000+ meters with a playground on top for the kids.

Also they have strollers for borowing. Strollers with air tires and spring, so when we went hiking our toddler could easily come with us. He really enjoyed the stay also.

We had an amazing week in Lohmann with our 3 kids under 6.
Great hiking opportunities without need for a car. We made good use of the complimentary Otztal Premium Card which allowed free cable car and bus rides (amongst other things). The head chef and kitchen team did a superb job catering for our severe and complicated food allergies. We felt very well looked after and safe. The staff really made an effort, were very understanding and accommodating. The breakfast and dining experience was an absolute pleasure and very relaxed! The food was delicious and a great variety (we obviously discussed our dietary needs with the hotel prior to booking and again prior to our arrival).
Highly recommended.

Overall a great week here skiing with our 2 teenage children (and our brother-in-law with his 10 year old son). Booked through Crystal as at time of booking flights were not yet released for independent travel. We basically confirm previous reviews of the hotel and resort.
Our immediate family of four had 2 large inter-connecting rooms each with a sofa bed, table area, bathroom with large sink area, as well as a separate storage room across the hall for suitcases ski clothing etc. Very spacious with all the essentials. New-looking bathrooms but slightly dated decor in main room although apparently all rooms due for renovation this year.
All-inclusive means buffet breakfast with a wide choice of options to prepare for the slopes including made to order egg/ omelette and pancakes; cake, tea, coffee or squash at 4pm; and buffet evening meal with wine, beer or soft drinks. Very efficient waiter service and tasty and varied meals.
As norm for Austria, main area is costume-free. You can wrap up in a towel yourself but can’t necessarily avoid others not wearing towels. There is a textile sauna on a different level but you need to ask first for it to be turned on. Sauna, steam room and spa baths very relaxing after a day skiing.
Only very short walk to Wiesenlift nursery slopes/ ski school, Festkogel gondola and bus stop to Hochgurgl. Ski hire shop attached to hotel very helpful and efficient. Boot room has heated boot racks.
Agree with most reviews on-line - practically no lift queues ( except when weather forced Easter ‘crowds’ into limited area which meant 5 mins wait!); lovely cruisey blue runs; many middle- aged intermediates and families; low-key apres-ski, Nederhutte great, not much to village but hotels and ski- hire shops but personally we appreciated its unspoilt nature.
Snow was fantastic for such late season but weather meant poor visability most days. We hope to be able to return another time with a little more sun!
