Description: Traditional Tyrolean food meets culinary indulgence - welcome to the Sunnalm! You are not only served with delicious dishes here but enjoy the atmosphere, laugh and dance together, experience Tyrolean charm and get a sense of tradition. The Sunnalm invites you to indulge in a friendly, warm atmosphere! The traditional cosy "front room charm” is noticeable as soon as you enter. And yet as traditional and almost rustic as the first impression of the Sunnalm seems, the first-class dishes are just as varied and diverse. You also should not miss out on indulging in a genuine Italian pizza from the stone oven during your stay in Ischgl. Would you like a menu created especially for you for a very special occasion? We will be happy to put together a culinary menu for you that really tickles your taste buds... Please let us know early on which menu we can put together for you.

“Give yourself a treat”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had a great meal in the restaurant of this hotel. It serves local Tyrolean dishes.

The cooking was superb and the portions are more than adequate. It is not a "lite" cuisine. This is hearty food but get stuck in and enjoy it: you deserve it after a hard day on the hills. The diet can wait until you are back home!

To me this typifies what is so good about Austrian hospitality: a big investment in the facilities, superb local food but not aggressively priced, charming staff, especially Lazlo , our waiter and a sense that the family that owns the place cares about you and they care about their reputation.

It was a good evening: go along.

“Great food & service”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Had a great meal here on our chalet staffs night off. Great to try some Austrian wine which you can't get readily in the UK. Must save space for the special desert but it's enough to share.
If there's any downside, it's the smoking. We'd missed Austria for a number of years and had forgotten they haven't joined the real world and banned it. Don't let that put you off, at the moment you can't escape it.

“Not recommendable”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

The restaurant seemed to be a bit crowded but the atmosphere was nice, with live music. We were friendly greeted at the door and did not have to wait long for a table. After that, everything went quickly downhill. It took half an hour before our first drinks were served and we finally got the menu. Unfortunately I did not get the glass of wine I asked for but a sweet white one, and I had to ask twice to get the red wine. After ordering our food it took almost an hour for the starters to arrive and then it turned out my soup was cold... The main dish was not what my companion ordered - and very greasy on top of that. Then they served the wrong drinks again... need I say more? The waiting staff was very unattentive and not friendly either. Of course we did not give a tip after this disastrous dinner....
