“Best pizza north of Italy”
Reviewed February 15, 2012

This is an excellent little restaurant not far off the main street of Ischgl (accessible through a hard to spot set of stairs or by a three minute walk via the town church). The pizzas are absolutely delicious - try the two calzones, meat and seafood variants! Lots of other options on the menu as well and everything we had was great. The staff was excellent as well, so I can't but highly recommend La Nona.

“Austrian restaurant with very good italian food”
Reviewed August 7, 2011

The restaurant is located in Ischgl citycenter, just few minutes from the main square. It is owned by the St. Nikolaus hotel, and there is a room only for the hotel customers.

It has an italian setting with some signs and other italian details on the walls. and it doesn't matter if for an Italian could be difficoult to eat under a "Piazzale Loreto" sign... :-)

The menu merges some typical italian food with typical tirolean specialities. The food was good and the portions very plentiful. Pizzas seemed big and good.

In the end, the price was good enought if related to the good taste and the quantity of the food: Spaghetti bolognese + Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes+ Big Ice cream Cup + Coke = 30€

“Did the job”
Reviewed March 30, 2011

They did a large table for Saturday night at quite short notice. Alp sized starters and an adventurous range of pizzas. All well done bar one undercooked pizza, for which they were quick to apologise. Tap water only available on a 1:1 ratio for wine ordered is an extraordinary policy. Is there some sort of natural drought in Austria? Given the snowmelt in the rivers it would seem hard to believe…
