Have just spent a week in Ischgl (30th of March - 6th of April) as a family of 4. The hotel was fantastic and little touches like chocolates on the bed every day, ski room having citrus scent, welcome drinks were noted and appreciated.

Location is very good, one can ski down on both sides to the hotel with 2 min walk and it takes about 4-5 min to reach Fimba lift. Hotel is one hill, which we appreciated for fitness reasons:-)

Rooms and facilities were very clean and taken care of. Loved Easter decorations.

Food was absolutely amazing and dinners were definitely 5 star. Impressive wine list on the menu. Service was impeccable.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. We couldn't find a single fault with this hotel and certainly enjoyed our stay. Will happily stay there again.

We stayed here as a family of four adults over Christmas. From the moment of arrival we knew we were going to be very happy with the accommodation, the service and the food. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and spotless with plenty of hooks and cupboards for the paraphernalia of skiing. The ski room was smart and tidy and had excellent ski and boot racks with plenty of room for everyone even in the morning and evenings when it was at its busiest. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay for us - it was truly splendid and varied and importantly it was kept very well replenished throughout service. We had dinner on a couple of evenings and it was superb; there is a very good team of chefs working behind the scenes. All the front of house staff were unfailingly polite and cheerful and from the moment of our arrival knew who we were. We had an early departure on the last morning so they had made a packed breakfast for each of us and without us asking they had remembered that one of us was a vegetarian. Exemplary service in a really nice hotel which was positioned about 2 minutes walk from the lift to the main lift station.

The hotel isn't ski in /out (it would get six stars if it was and no doubt cost £1,000's more!) but there is a run behind it to come home (brings you out about less than 100 metres away from the hotel)) and a run that takes you to the top of the road, about 150 metres away. The walk to the ski lift in the morning is a 150 metre walk to an elevator and then a travelator which takes you directly to the bubble car to take you to the ski slopes.

The location of this hotel has, for me, a major advantage, it's not on the main street and is therefore nice and quiet. I marvelled at the five star hotels that are above noisy bars and clubs. We slept with the window open and were never woken by noise in the street.

The Restaurant is a very nice place to relax in. Staff are super efficient and helpful.
Breakfast: good selection of cold meats (some you cut fresh) cheeses, cereals, fruit juice and breads. They make scrambled egg, fried eggs and a very tasty omelette to order. Coffee is brought to you and you can make tea. There is also champagne if you want it... :-). Boiled eggs you can do yourself, they even provide personal timers.
Hot sausages bacon and pancakes also provided.

Bar/lounge area. Not huge but nice and comfortable and welcoming. The chap behind the bar was friendly and helpful. He even offered to get some cider in for the week of our stay. Prices not bad at 5.50E for a large beer.

Room: free WiFi, worked well. Room was spotlessly clean. I looked for damage to the walls/fittings and couldn't find any, which is impressive given that suitcases and ski gear is manhandled in the room. Room had a good sized balcony (we had a plus room, double bed plus a sofa bed). The bathroom had a separate temperate control panel. Bathroom was well fitted out and in excellent order. Lots of towels including robes and towels for the wellness centre (all replaced daily).
Huge TV (42inch at a guess) with some UK channels. Fridge with some limited drinks in that you can buy but also with plenty of space to put your own food/drinks.

Cleaning and full towel changes took place every day. Great attention to detail. When we arrived we asked about making up the sofa bed (two of us, but father and son). Took them less than 20 minutes to be in the room making up the sofa bed.
Nice balcony that they swept when it was snowing!

Boot room is great for skis but there were limited spots for adult snowboards. Lots of boot warmers that ran very warm (warmest I have every used) so little chance of your boots not being dry in the morning.

There is a small wellness centre, we never used it so can't comment.

Isghl: a lovely town but missing a shop that sells souvenirs (a first for me in 25yrs skiing). Only one supermarket but with the tunnel from the main Street to that part of town, not a huge walk (near the ski lift). We struggled a little buying cough medicine. Unlike the UK there was nothing in the supermarket (not even standard pain killers). I eventually worked out that there is a counter ran chemist near the Silvrettaseilbahn lift (furthest west). This was only open until 5:30pm. We only bought cough medicine so unclear what else is available. It is just a door with little other than a Red Cross on it so easily missed if you are looking for a UK type pharmacy.

A lovely friendly hotel with fantastic food. Small family run, lots of care and attention given by staff. Meals were some of the best we have had anywhere. Rooms clean and a good size. About 250 m to the lift into the Dorf tunnel, and ski back to within 100m. Spa facilities very good although no Jacuzzi and restricted for children. Would love to go back.
