5 visits and counting. Smiling faces from the staff and guests. Gourmet dining in beautiful new dining room. Flowers everywhere, decorating the immaculate terrace and adorning the hotel. First class service from all of the team. A spa and pool, reflecting the luxury of the hotel. This Family owned and run hotel has been a labour of love for many years. Guests constantly return, including this reviewer.

Room Tip: Junior suites include a very comfortable sitting area. Ask for the mountain view.

absolutly wonderfull. Great location in the center of Zell am See, lovely town.3 min walk to the lake.Food is great, served with smiles in nice dining room. Bar downstairs is great and when weather is bad, perfect place to relax. We had 8 treatments in the spa on 4th floor and they all very great. Room with great vieu and super big bathroom, all exceptionaly clean. Having English chanels on the TV were bonus for us. This is not place to dring and party till 4am, but if you want to relax in comfort this is 5 star place, Only problem , we find the beds very hard and uncomfortable, but we seem to have this problem in Austria and Germany.

Room Tip: Rooms facing street have noice from stream below ,which can problems going to sleep if you are light sleeper.

I stayed here for one night as part of a motorcycle tour of Europe with my daughter. What an outstanding hotel, from the front of house staff to the chefs everything was amazing. We left the hotel the following to continue our trip, only to be knocked off our bike going up the Grossglockner pass. This meant going back to Zellamsee. We called the hotel to tell them and they arranged a room and the hotel minivan to take us to the hire car center. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and i hope to be going back for a winter stay!!.
Once again thankyou all at Tirolerhof..

Our third visit to this hotel. A week's trip and unfortunately it rained four out of seven days, but with a hotel like this the weather almost doesn't matter. The family owners, staff, food, general standards, can't praise highly enough. Minor gripe is that wifi needs upgraded as email is very difficult to download, but other than that simply SUPERB.

Not many hotels that you can recommend to others without any caveats whatsoever, but this is one. Book now but keep it a secret in case too many people find out!

We have just had a wonderful week in The Triolerhof. It was our first visit to Austria and we choose this hotel after checking the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed - from the time we arrived to a glass of sparkling bubbly we enjoyed a 5 star experience. The Posch family and all the hotel staff make guests feel welcome and valued. We had room 224 it was spotless, comfortable well equipted with robes slippers and a basket of towels for use in the spa area. The restaurant is well designed and the food is first class with plenty of choices. (We were even treated to a tour of the kitchen to meet the chiefs and sample some of the delightful dishes)
We would recommend joining Wolfgang on his guided walks BUT be warned when he says the route is flat! Thank you all at the Tirolerhof we hope to see you again.
PS Today we received a post card from The Posch Family thanking us for choosing their hotel for our holiday. This is an indication of the attention to detail and genuine service given to guests at this hotel. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: We could view the sunrise over the mountains from room 224
