this place is super nice! With good weather the view from the top is simply amazing. Also the ski resort is very very nice. if you are a beginner like me you can ski down from 2000 mts in a blue track without problems

“Moguls......Again !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

Some good runs here but once again due to earlier warm weather and Russian holidays pistes became very busy. Red runs seemed to be groomed better than the blues which were riddled with moguls...Not good !

“Nice place to ski”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Liked the ski slopes, you can find anything you need in this place.
Disliked the lack of orientation signs. Only after you get used with that place it gets easier to know where you are.

“Excellent ski-ing - great infrastructure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

There are quite a few options for getting up onto the mountain, City Express cable car is probably the most popular, and there is not much queuing.
There is quite a variety of runs for all levels. Plenty of good blue slopes for beginners and lessons, and the reds on the Sonnenalm are great for cruising up and down all day. The black runs are not too difficult, although black 14 is very long and will test the legs of most.
The lifts are great, many with bubbles and heated seats for poor weather, good lifites too, looking after people. You can see where your lift pass money is spent, not much in the way of queues, though avoid Mittlestation around 10 when the ski lessons head off.
There are plenty of restaurants on the mountain, some self service, some waiter. The variety and quality of the food is pretty good at most. The Hochzeller Alm and Jagga Alm are well worth a visit.
Off piste skiing is pretty limited, most of the skiing here is pisted.
Normally you can ski back to the village at the end of the day, but its a black run, with a lot of "beginners" trying it out, proceed with caution. Other option is to have gluewine at Mittlestation and take the cable down.

“Great skiing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

Mass of runs for all abilities and the restaurant at the top is better than the one at the bottom. There is also a walking trail between to lifts for the non-skiers.
