This was my summer week off (I was snowed under with my work) and I have used it well.
I was in a big bright room with double bed and a big balcony.
When you take a room on summer dates you get a Zell-Kaprun card
which is incredibly valuable (don`t need to pay for a mass of things).
Very comfy bed, murmur of the little creek and of course cold mountain air are guarantee for a good night sleep.
It is very close to lifts, bus station (for daily Kaprun trip), post office etc.
I was absolutely surprised how summer could be nice in High Alps.
Maria and Helli were very nice hosts, very helpfull and open for all questions and I`ve really enjoyed my stay there.

p.s. Explore surroundings, it is really brilliant !!!!

A short uphill walk from the train station, we were welcomed warmly by Maria. Our room which had a balcony and private bathroom was spotless and well presented. Our breakfast in a cute small dining room was more than adequate.
Only hiccup was no wiFi for our IPad. A local cafe in the main town area had wiFi access at no charge when dining in.
When arranging our accommodation, excellent service was provided by Maria.

This is our third year skiing in Zell am See and our first time staying at Haus Wilhelmina and we're already planning our stay there next year. Our room was on the top floor and was very clean, quiet and importantly warm. The bed was very comfortable and the linen looked as new so we slept very well after a day on the slopes. The bathroom was spotless and there was always plenty of hot water for showers.

The breakfast room is on the ground floor and has a TV on the wall which shows you the current live video feed from the slopes with the temperatures and wind conditions which was important for us in the last two days as the temperature at 2000m was a chilly -22C. The breakfast was a traditional alpine one served from 8am to 9:30am and included coffee, tea, orange juice, milk and a good choice of cereals, bread, cooked meats and cheese.

This is an ideal place to stay for skiers. We went for the package deal where you get the B & B and the lift passes for a good discount. They have a locked cellar which is accessed using some steps outside the building where you can keep all your ski equipment and when you're all kitted up the City Express cable car is just across the road which is absolutely perfect when you're walking in ski boots!

The location is also very good for apres ski as it's a very short walk to the town centre and down to the lake.

Maria was very helpful both in terms of providing local information and helping us catch the right bus back to the airport and we'll be contacting her again very soon to reserve our booking for next year.

Room Tip: All the rooms seem fine

Haus Wilhemina is positioned right next to the City Express lift and a few minutes walk to the town centre. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the ensuite shower/sink/toilet spotless. The wardrobe had space for all our kit and also there was safe, at no additional cost. On the landing there is a fridge with beers, wine and soft drinks payable via an honesty box. The continental breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. The proprietors were alway helpful. We had an excellent week at Haus Wilhemina and would fully recommend this B&B

I AM WRITING THIS AGAIN, SINCE MY LAST REVIEW ENDED UP FILED WITH THE LOWEST OVERALL RATING - WHICH WAS DEFINITELY NOT INTENDED!!! THIS PLACE IS A WINNER!
We are a rather hard-travelled family and therefore pretty picky vacationers, but we simply love this place. Loved it before we had our baby and appreciate it even more now. It is nice and practical for enthusiastic skiers like us as well as warm and cosy for the more leisurely holidaying. The location in the centre of Zell am See and just accross the street from the City Express ski lift station is perfect for both families or those who wish to go out every night. Plus the Bindels are truly nice and kind people, taking very attentive care of both their guests and property. We have just come back from our fourth stay at theirs and are already planning another. It is definitely worth trying!
