We booked a week in Mayrhofen with Crystal Ski. It was around £750 / person for flights and hotel half board. At that price we didn't quite know what to expect. The room we had was in a seperate building from the main hotel but there was an underhround tunnel to take us to the main hotel. I've seen some reviews complaining about this so was expecting a seedy tunnel that smelt of urine. In actuality it has pool tables, fussball table, video games all down there. The bit that actually goes under the road is a little chilly but still not at all bad. At the other end of the tunnel you have the spa and the warm room fro skiing / snpwboard gear. Our room was nice, really big with a corner balcony (huge), a king size bed and a seating area, big bathroom with a waterfall shower. The only thing that would have made it better was perhaps a fridge and warm drink making facilities. Also, twice we were disturbed by the cleaner who knocked so gently and then let herself in. The food is great. A large breakfast buffet with everything you could ask for. Tip: Breakfast stop at 10:00 but make sure you go before 09:30 or there won't be much left. Dinner is amazing, 6 courses - apperitif, soup, salad, main, dessert and cheese. The staff are lovely, all in all a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

First time visiting Mayrhofen and Neuhaus but will no be our last. I know it’s a bit cliché but it’s true. The hotel staff could not be more helpful. The amenities were first class and cleanliness of the hotel was of the highest standard. It was strange walking underground to the main hotel but even that turned into a nice walk and no need to wrap up either. Great on a cold and snowy night. Only criticism I couldn’t find fault anywhere. Well done to all

Great hotel at the border of the town and the beginning of the shopping street. Train station is 100m away. Skibus around the corner. This hotel has nice, large rooms, friendly staff, great food and a great wellness area and also a heated swimmingpool

This was our second time in Mayrhofen staying at Hotel Neuhaus. Our room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom was also spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean and towels were changed on a daily basis. As per my review last year, the one thing lacking was air conditioning in the dining room. It was unbearably hot at times and I'm sure guests would apprieciate some sort of ventilation.
The best thing about staying at the Neuhaus is "Walking with Otto" What a fantastic guide he is! We walked with him on four days of our holiday and each day was very enjoyable, with marvellous scenery and good company. Otto cleverly judges the clientele and adjusts his walks accordingly. He really is an asset and we'll definitely walk with him again should we return.

As I write this at 2:00 in the morning, the band for a wedding on the main floor is raging at full volume for the last 6 hours. We are understanding to a point, but that was about two hours ago. This is a nice hotel with a large ballroom and poor sound insulation. They had two weddings today, so this party problem is clearly a weekly event. Next time, we will try the Gasthaus Kammerwirt- great food, responsive staff and beautiful, quiet rooms in the center of town.
