Great food, horrible service! Overall a great hotel just poor serice etc. We made special reservations for a particular table and when we arrived it was taken, not even an apology or anything!!!! We will think long and hard before returning!!

DAY 1 - greeted with 'are you staying here'? and 'you have a lot of luggage'
DAY 2 - Breakfast. Asked for eggs on toast and was told 'this is not possible, you make the toast and then come back when i make your egg'. Toast was obviously cold by time she had put me to the back of the queue and has muttered to a Germanic hotel customer 'he does not understand'
DAY 3 - worst omelette i have ever eaten. Later compressed my foot skiing and could not walk. Had to basically beg for ice for my foot and for some food to be brought to my room. The lady had to ask the manager if this was ok and 3 hours later some horrible cold food arrived.
DAY 4 - checkout. No mention of 'how are you or how was your stay' charged me for tap water saying this is from a spring, no goodbye, again no manners or a hint of customer service.

The Neuhaus will slowly learn that people do not pay hard earned money for this level of service and this will ultimately be its downfall.

TIP. Pay a little more if you are coming to Mayrhofen and stay in the Elizabeth.

The hotel is large with many entertainment options for those that don't ski including a pool, sauna, pool tables, bowling, relaxing in a lounge etc... The food was excellent and the staff took extra care of their guests. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Mayrhofen for a ski holiday or summer hiking in the alps.

Room tip: End suites are larger!

Went here last week of the season for a fondue. What a surprise we got! Possibly the best fondue ever. A superb layout of numerous sauces, at least six, plus ramekins of mushrooms, roast peppers, melon and pineapple and various vegetables. Good quality meat cooked in a bouillon rather than oil. Very attentive service by staff who seemed to take a pride in what they were offering. All at a reasonable price.
