We loved our stay here. A spacious bright corner room, a fantastic panorama view, and steps to the main square. Karl is super friendly and likeable host. The place is recently updated, clean and comfortable. Large ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet. A quiet night for sleeping, great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended. Great value.t

Room Tip: Pick the corner room facing the sunset.

Very large rooms, close to ski lifts, incredible panorama, nice kids play room, but most importantly proprietors make the hotel unique: Karel and Madeleine are rock stars. They worked incredibly hard to accommodate special requests, including a 3rd birthday party, babysitting, massage appointments, etc. All this comes at reasonable value for money.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a motorcycle trip and enjoyed every minute of staying here. There was parking and a warm reception at the front desk. The Kärnten Card which we received was valuable for exploring the area and got us free entrance into the national park. The room (number 9) was clean, spacious and had a very warm atmosphere in addition to having a breathtaking view of the Großglockner and Heiligenbluts church from the balcony. The town center with various shops and restaurants was a 5 minute walk away. Personal favorite was the afternoon cake you could find around 5pm at the front desk which was freshly baked and always a different sort every day! The staff were very friendly and helpful and could answer all questions I had about the history and surrounding area. Very enjoyable stay in Alps.

We stayed one night, drove a car and were a family with 2 small kids. just in case as our requirements may differ from yours.
We were searching for a quite property with central location though. And it could not be better!!
We enjoyed our stay and were very happy with our choice.
THE PROFITS
Really newly repaired hotel. It,s a traditional building , freshly renovated.
Easy to find, there is a sign on the road.
Large parking area without these tiny slots you can,t fit.
Sit on the hill with amazing undisturbed mountain peaks and village/valley view. Wonderful!
Our junior suite turned out to be a huge 2-room suite with queen size bed, 2 extra beds, tea-coffe facilities, large balcony with breathtaking sunrise view and... The owners have even prepared a baby bath for us.. Very touchy.
Although close to the main road, it,s still a 1min walk and there is a very safe garden with kids playground and plenty of kids activities. We loved that! Although did not really stay long there we could at least pack our staff into the car without constantly watching where the boys were.
If you want to have a dinner on site they will cook it for you, just require in advance.
Otherwise we were recommended a terrace restaurant with amazing view within a 5 min walk which was very much appreciated after a long drive and good dinner :)
The hotel is situated in a village / small city at the beginning of the stunning mountain views road.
The Hochalpenstrasse starts in 5 min (10?) drive only.
On arrival, we received a map, full info including preferable hours to visit the sites and catched a great time being almost alone on the top enjoying glacier views.
Breakfast is a buffee type . Not a big variety but different sorts of meat, cheese, cereals, soft drinks, fresh fruits and eggs were served.
THE CONCERNS
Just the wifi was a little weak in our room. We were noticed in advance though.
All in all we were happy and would recommend the place to our friends.

Room Tip: Junior suite overlooking valley and mountains.
