We spent two nights here. The couple that run this motel were very friendly and able to offer us a lot of advice regarding things to do, places to see, etc.
The room was super. It was very clean and the decor was perfect for the area we were in. We had two rooms with three beds. It was only five dollars more for the third bed. I went with my mother and my eight year old daughter. We had two TV's with lots of options for channel selection. My mother, who is eighty, stayed in the one room "in her sauna" and my daughter and I were able to use the air-conditioner in the other room.
I wish we had spent all four nights there. We went on to Keystone where everything is super expensive and the rooms were over $100.00. I thought that the gas would be cheaper if we moved down the road for the different attractions-everything is so close, it would have been a lot easier to just stay in Custer.
The restaurants were great. We ate at the Purple Place-wonderful salad's and pies. We also ate next door-twice the food was excellent.
We will go again with my husband and other two children. It is a wonderful area to visit.
Love Custer and the Cheif Motel!!!
