“Great moderate hike.”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

It's fun to see where the trail goes. In this case it went up and up and up and over rocks. It is sad to see the devastation the beetles have caused but you can really tell the Forest Service is working the area to save as many trees as they can. This was a great hike. It took us about an hour

“Moderate walk among the needles.”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

The trail winds and climbs amid ponderosa pines and soaring granite spires. Windflowers, deer, vistas add to the experience.

“LOVED THE VIEW”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

We loved this hiking trail until the tick landed on me. Then I became paranoid. It is a great hike and when you get towards the top we went right and walked through the spires. Great hike

“Maybe didn't go far enough?”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

We hiked out this trail until we were climbing up and over large boulders and hadn't seen anything better or even as good as what we'd seen from the road.
