We really enjoyed our 3-day stay here. They place needs a little sprucing up but it is kept clean and neat. The staff is great (mostly foreign college students) and very attentive. Breakfast was REAL good. Nice pool and the crolf game was fun. I doubt we'll go to Custer again but if we do we'll stay here again.

We stopped for the one night. They were very attentive. Had a small heated swimming pool, basketball court, and a game that combines golf with croquet . Clean rooms and Hot breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, gravy, sausage ,biscuits, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, breads ,coffee, orange juice, apple juice, milk. Better breakfast than some of the higher class motels. Would stay here again. People were great.

This was only one of many hotels we stayed at during our eleven day driving vacation. There were none better and only two others as good. The staff was outstanding - making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great - better than motel/motels costing much more. This is one of only three that we now recomend to family, friends, and facebook.

Room Tip: We are too inexperienced with traveling to give good hints. One would be to get to breakfast early, as breakfast at this location is outstanding and this is a popular time.

Though the interiors need to be updated, the room was comfortable and surprisingly clean. The hot breakfast was a real surprise! It was the best breakfast we've had at a motel/ hotel. Beating breakfasts at hotels that cost twice as much!

We liked the location in Custer - less touristy than Keystone up the road. We stayed in the newer section of the Cowboy Inn, just around and back off the street. Downtown is about three blocks away. Our room was clean and comfortable - we were a party of three with two queen beds. The hot breakfast was well stocked, although it gets crowded in the small room where breakfast is served. All in all, would recommend this hotel for a one night stopover.
