“A South Dakotan's God's Country”

So how come everyone else from Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska come here. It's getting too crowded ;-) I hope we can continue to preserve it for everyone to enjoy in spite of the pine beetle!

“black hills amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

very twisty and turn roads. Favorite part was going through the first tunnel and seeing Mt. Rushmore ahead. Breathtaking!!! There are 6 tunnels between the black hills and custer state park.

“we loved it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Wow this area of our country is so beautiful. All of us were wishing that we could live in this beautiful area. I know that come winter I would not feel the same as I like our warm Georgia winters. It was such a wonderful place to see.

“You have to see them for yourself”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

The Indians referred to them as Pahasapa. Go find out why for yourself. They aren't the Rockies but they are awesome to see and play in.

“labor day weekend”

All around this park you will see the beauty and and larger than life feel. We did not want the drives and hikes to end, we ended up seeing the sun set.
