We stayed in a Creekside room for three nights, attending a wedding reception at State Game. The room was very comfortable, including the bed and pillows. We were on the first floor, and if I knew better, I would have requested the second floor. The rooms essentially either look over the parking lot or the highway, but you really aren't in the Park to stay in your room. Both the bar and restaurant are up in the Lodge, which is a very easy walk. The bar is a lot of fun, and you will meet people from all over the US.
It is an easy drive to Mt. Rushmore, and of course you will want to do the Jeep Safari, which takes off just outside of Creekside. Bison will amble right past your Jeep!
By the way, the wedding venue is lovely.More
