Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. The rooms need a facelift but the bed and pillows were comfortable and the heating was good - it was extremely cold. Make sure you do the buffalo safari. It's a great afternoon with lots of wildlife to see.

We chose this hotel due to the location and Creekside was all they had. The Creekside rooms were large with couches and balconies. The sink was a long area outside of the shower or toilet. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Ask for a room with a balcony on Creekside unless you want to overlook parking lot. We took a jeep tour of wildlife which left very near the lodge. Would recommend the jeep as they go off road on non-public access roads. We actually enjoyed the lunch buffet at State Game Lodge. Just a short walk from Creekside. The food was very fresh and a good variety. We ordered off the menu for breakfast because a bus crowd had eaten up the food. Breakfast was not included in our rate. The ala carte breakfast items were delicious - order some bacon!!

it is in need of a facelift, at least in the attached sections. Did not stay in historic part. Mattresses need to be replaced. Also the fly swatter they provide gets used ALOT. Very small bathroom. Good restaurant on site. Compared to other places in the area it is ok and major benefit is that it is in the park and if you drive at 5:30 am you see bison herds, elk herds, burrows, etc. Don't expect luxury.

Due to rain, rather than camping we grabbed a room at the Game Lodge last minute. We were fortunate they had a room for us. The location was VERY quiet. The rooms were clean. Towels were plush. A nice paved trail from the lodge to the little "general store" made for a nice stroll. Very close to the wildlife loop - which is incredible. I slept great! Not fancy...but a great location. It is not the Hilton...but there aren't buffalo at a Hilton.

The kids and i arrived late in the night after a long night from Indiana. When we got there they were very friendly and accommodating . We had our reservations (highly recommend) a few months before. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Had breakfast at restaurant next morning and was very good…
