I have eaten at El Tucan in Flores on several different trips that I have made to Tikal. This time the food was not quite as good as in past visits. Its former location overlooking the lake was much more appealing. The service was just as good as before because the waiter was the same one who was working at the previous location.
The one constant was the quality of the naranjada con aqua. I remember stopping by El Tucan one trip and downing three of these before dinner after a day of walking around the ruins at Tikal. The naranjada con aqua was just as good on this trip even though the food was not quite as good.
