“Great spot!”

We were so lucky to stumble upon this place! What a treat! The two employees that we had most contact with were amazing~ Brenda and Tony! We had the casa with the view of the lake. It was real nice that they had bug nets and fine beds. The owner was very nice as well. We will be back to sak luk if we return to that area!

We slept there 2 nights. Its bad maintained, dirty, old... the owner was rude and shouted at us when we wanted charge our phones... toilets and showers are very dirty, nobody cleans there! It would be easy to catch sth there.... Their TV was loud till late. I had to ask them to turn the volume down because we couldnt sleep. Dont go there - they will take your money and then wont care any more aboute you!

The unique design of this place reflects the artistic soul of its creator. The unmatched vista and the soul balming quiet of this place is what you will not find in the touristy Flores. Erwin is such a wonderful host and I am proud of gradually becoming a good friend of his. If you are into cooking, you will find the conditions rather spartan, but Erwin has a good restaurant going, so why cook.

"a little slice of hippy heaven" according to lonely planet. Well, i don't know when this was but those days seemed long gone. The place was in desperate need of some repairs. Everything looked like it seen better times..
The staff didn't seem to care that we were tehre really. Sac luc is supposed to have great food but we didn't find the place very appealing. We did'n know where to sit really...
El remate is a very small village with nothing to do. It is a "real" guatemalan town though.
sac luc looked like it had seen beter days. We didn't really like the place.
