If I had believed all the bad reviews written here at this website, I would not be able to find this gem in New Orleans. It's a great location. Not in d French quarter but close enough to take a cab.

We were given a hotel room. Nice room. Nothing spectacular. One thing that is awesome is how.clean it was...

2 thumbs up for managers special for happy hour. It's a nice start for a grueling night at d French Quarter. Breakfast is great.. New choices every day.

Great staff! Parking is as usual horrible. Don't feel.safe in that parking lot. But overall it was ok.

Would definitely stay again

Stayed here while attending a conference held at the convention center.

Hotel was a short, straight shot to the convention center. About a 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street.

Area has nice bar, food options as well.

Hotel staff were all inviting and always available for questions. Continental breakfast is a little above average...offers cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, make your own waffles, and a warm dish along with scrambled eggs.

I stayed in a suite that had a couch, kitchen area, work station...envision a studio layout on a smaller scale.

This will bet first choice when I return on a personal trip!!! I hope you have the experience that I did as I really enjoyed staying here and the location.

This property has several things that need updating, but for the price per night many of these can be overlooked. It almost seems they did a partial renovation, updated many things but left others that really should have been addressed. It is hard to describe this, but imagine re-decorating your entire bedroom, but leaving the bright rust colored shag carpet from 1972... complete with all the stains. At any rate, what cannot be overlooked is an inattentive staff and cockroaches in the room. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and when I ask for extra towels or a plunger, I don't expect to wait over 2 hours and have a grumpy security guard bring them finally. Also there is a horrid stench in the elevators. It smells like mildew and low tide.

confirmed a king room which was of course not available when we checked in. ok, asked for a suite near the laundry which happened to be in a restored warehouse which we thought sounded awesome. however, the design is a lot of zig zagging around and a bad smell in the unit. The next morning I see a magnet on the back of the door that indicates it's a pet friendly room. i not only get allergy shots but carry an inhaler and was very upset to realize my headache, etc. was from a pet previously sleeping where I was!

Room Tip: not the safest location. in warehouse district that is quiet and dark at night!

This is a very nice Residence Inn. We had the 2 bedroom suite. It was very clean and comfortable. Wish their was a king bed but we made the queen work. Check in easy, staff very friendly and helpful in finding local restaurant. Breakfast was good, plentiful and clean dining area. Overall, I would defintely stay here again.

Just spent some weeks at this hotel. Staff is great, breakfast is predictable- not great but edible. Rooms are spacious enough, very corporate & bland, but comfortable. The biggest problem is the paito area. they have just completed a nice renovation, but left in place the truly horrible 70s era plastic globe lights which shine into your eyes (and your room) no matter where you sit. These lights have now been outlawed in many municipalities. they are beyond unpleasant and ruin what would otherwise be a lovely outdoor area. i sincerely hope the corporate powers that be will replace these horrid lights with directional lighting and transform this place into a truly great value place to stay.

Spent a couple of days here. The rooms are clean and big with a fully functional kitchenette. The hotel folks were efficient yet hospitable. The complimentary breakfast was well spread and left nothing to be desired. Located pretty much in the heart of the city I am definitely going to stay here the next time I visit New Orleans.

Room Tip: Insist on complimentary breakfast. Its well spread and delicious.
