We loved this hotel. The location couldn't have been better. Just steps away from Bourbon Street but the quietness that you need in a hotel. The price was great about $110 a night. The small issues we had were with the front desk. They were just not friendly. We checked in late Monday night and received a room with a view of the rooftop and wall. If you strained your neck you could see the sky. But we did arrive late and that was all they had. We knew we wouldn't be in our room a lot. I had requested a street or balcony room for more of the New Orleans feel but they don't have balconies. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and they did send up a bottle of champagne and nice note when we arrived so I felt they acknowledged my request I made with the reservation that way. The room was fine in the end. I would recommend it to anybody going. Just don't expect much from the people in the front lobby.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is half a block from bourbon so you can walk there at night without feeling lonely in the dark streets of the french quarter. And still I had a very quiet night sleep on a big weekend (took a room with a window to an internal space). Most of the time the hotel employees were very friendly. Once or twice I did encounter someone less nice in the reception but nothing serious. The hotel was clean and safe (reception is attended by 2 people all night) and I highly recommend it.

We stayed a week. The hotel had everything we needed. What was more amazing is that it was so close to Bourbon Street..yet while inside our bedroom,it was quiet. You cannot beat the location, right in the heart of the French Quarter!Very reasonably and moderately priced also!iI will be back to book this hotel again. No pool .

Room Tip: Choose an inside room!

We loved our stay at the charming Prince Conti. Staff were warm and welcoming on our arrival. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location, central to the French Quarter and very reasonably priced. We would definitely come back.

When my husband told me that his parents had stayed in this same hotel over thirty years ago; I was at the least, a little concerned about the condition of the property. My fears were soon put to rest. This hotel had retained its charm, without falling into shabbiness or neglect. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Our bathroom was very clean, had newer tile and a beautiful pedestal sink with an ample shelf over it to store toiletries. The staff was the real jewel of this establishment. Always friendly, happy and kind the entire five days of our stay. They did a great job on keeping our room clean, yet they were never intrusive. We were easily able to walk to many fine eating establishments and stores. The trolley stops were also a close distance from the hotel and easy to find. If you want a smaller, quiet hotel, this is a great choice! We are planning another trip to New Orleans for sometime this year and we will definitely choose to stay at the Prince Conti.

Our stay was excellent, the staff was great, from management, to maids, atmosphere was perfect, and a great location. We will return! We did have need for maintenance and our issue was fixed promptly and efficiently. We did not experience the Internet problems I saw in other reviews but our use was limited to iPad.

Upon my email confirmation, i had mentioned that it was my daughter's bday and about 10 minutes after check in they sent up a bottle of champagne. So nice of them. It was clean and smelled fine, there are safes in all the rooms. It was centrally located with great martinis in the bombay room...bathroom slightly out dated, and needed a little updating and sheetrock replacements in certain spots...but great place to lay your head and they got us our cab lickety split at 5 am... thanks so much even in busy thoroughfare...room was pleasantly silent at night.

Room Tip: perhaps a room with a balcony might be nice to see the traffic...but could be noisy.
