We have been looking for a new hotel home in the Quarter. Normally, we stay in one of the big chain hotels on Canal, but Nana is having difficulty walking with two bad knees. We have several favorite restaurants on the upper end of Bourbon St and I always end up at the Erin Rose, so we chose Prince Conti-- It turned out to be a great choice. Our room was great and the price was unbelievably low. The bed was superb and the room large and spacious-- we upgraded to a jr suite and it was wonderful.
One extra plus was the Bombay Club-- great happy hour with half price martinis!
The staff was friendly and competent and the cleaning crew was very accommodating. The only weak spot is the free WiFi-- we were at the far corner of the hotel and the signal was fair-- we simply used the hotspot on our cell phones and were able to use our tablet and laptop. They have parking available, but it is expensive-- we never drive, however.More
