“Excellent!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

This is a great hotel in every way. Location is excellent, walking distance to everything in the French Quarter and the casino. Happy hour in bar is great, and breakfast at the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, each time we bring friends with us,some have never been to New Orleans, and others that have been, but we all stay at this hotel, and everyone agrees this is the only
place to stay! The entire staff is AMAZING!!! The staff, at the front desk, Eva and Cindy, always make us feel at home, sweet and friendly maids, maintenance man greeting and asking if we enjoy New Orleans, the bell captains available to help and giving good directions,
all of this means a great deal to us as we are in New Orleans 3-4 times a year. Highly recommend the Prince Conti!!!

Room Tip: All rooms we have ever had were good.

Our stay at The Prince Conti Hotel was a wonderful experience. We were not expecting to be in our room much on our trip so we looked for a more affordable hotel. We are glad we did!. The location is awesome. Just a block off Burbon St... But far enough away that the noise was never a bother. The room was a pleasant surprise. Lots of character with a brick fireplace and Iron headboard. The room was very clean. The A/C worked perfectly. Bathroom was nothing special but clean and functional. Plenty of storage. TV was the old kind...not a flat panel one, but never really watched it anyway. The room was more secure than most I've stayed at. We had an almost private stairway to our 2nd floor room with a key card lock to enter it ... ... .With sooo many restaurantes and bars within walking distance we never tried the restaurant in the hotel... or the bar. When you arrive you have to drive into the hotel to check in....just a warning to those with large SUVs. Parking is very secure... although a bit expensive. We thouroughly enjoyed out stay here and we will stay here again the next time we travel through New Orleans.

What a location! Perfect. The room was great, the check in process fast & The staff was excellent. We plan on returning. This property has it all. Even Parking. But that's $30 a day. So Cab it from the airport & enjoy!

My fiance and I have frequented this hotel for 3 years now during the Voodoo Fest/Halloween season. The staff are very helpful and courteous each and every time we have visited. I have to have costumes shipped in by FedEx and the front desk staff happily accept my package. During the 2012 season we were stranded in New Orleans due to Hurricane Sandy and they accomodated us, not even having to change rooms. This hotel is one block from Burbon st but remains fairly quiet during the early morning hours. The room we book is small and old but that's the feel of this hotel. Very charming place to stay and would recommend!

Stayed Friday and Saturday night. The room was OK - certainly nothing special. Very small and had a very "old" feeling, but hey, it is NOLA. The location was perfect, just off Bourbon street and in walking distance to everything.

We decided last minute to book a quick two-night trip to New Orleans for the Crescent City Blues and BBQ festival weekend (Oct. 19-20) and were looking for a reasonable rate in a nice French Quarter hotel. We had stayed at the Prince Conti more than 20 years ago and were happy with it, so we decided to go back. We were not disappointed.

The location is just off Bourbon Street, but our room, which overlooked Conti Street, was very quiet. Though the room could use a tiny bit of updating, it was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The king bed was perfect for us, neither too firm nor too soft. The shower had great water pressure and the bathroom was spotless. The café was fine enough for grabbing a quick breakfast on the way out the door.

But what we really like about the Prince Conti is the staff. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile from the very first phone call to our good-byes at check-out and whenever we went out or returned, the staff greeted us with a smile and a few kind words every time. I mentioned we were celebrating a wedding anniversary while in town, and a bottle of French bubbly was delivered to our room the first night with a card and note from the staff.

I’m sure we’ll return again and will not let so much time elapse next time!

The Prince Conti is 1/2 block off Bourbon Street, was very clean, the staff was very helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the free WI-FI worked. It is walkable to everything and is a few blocks away from the trolley stop on Canal Street. The hotel is 150 years old, and it does not resemble a Red Roof Inn. The furniture is all antique reproductions. The plaster in the bathroom was cracked, and the moldings were dented, the same as I found in two of the better restaurants in the French Quarter. I will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Loved the view of Conti Street.
