If you're going to New Orleans to soak up the culture of the French Quarter, then this hotel is a great spot for you. It's location is right between Bourbon & Royal Streets and is an easy walk to all that the Quarter offers. If you are interested in a quiet's night rest, then this is probably not the best spot.

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Mazarin. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were able to take advantage of the "summer in the city" package, so valet parking was included in the price of the room - a fantastic deal for the Quarter. The full breakfast was also an added bonus.

Downside was probably the noise and the fact that the view of the lovely courtyard is obstructed by a tarp. Overall, though, a very nice hotel.

Room Tip: There's not really a restaurant, but the rating is for the breakfast that the hotel provides.

In a great location, quiet yet just around the corner from Bourbon Street. It's a lovely hotel with modern amenities that was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and there was a great complimentary breakfast on offer every morning along with free bottled water every day.

Room Tip: I had a Petite King facing the courtyard and the room was very spacious and quiet.

From the moment the door was opened for us welcoming us in until they told us to have a safe trip as we were leaving this hotel was nothing but excellent in our books. We had booked this hotel for a quick 2 night stay in New Orleans from the moment the door man opened the door for us we felt welcomed and comfortable. Larry at the front desk was so warm and friendly we felt at home immediately. Each and EVERY person from the staff was just as helpful. The location was perfect as was the room. The valet that parked our pickup was so friendly when he took our vehicle that I had no doubt that it would be well taken care of. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff was always ready for anything you needed. If we had a question or ask for a suggestion for our evening meal they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Oh. Yes, the room nothing but fabulous , what else can I say. This will always be our hotel for any future stays in NOLA and have already told my sister she doesn't want to try anywhere else.

We spent 4 days at this hotel and were very pleased. Easy access when dropped off car for valet, easy check-in, and small but clean, well decorated rooms. Great breakfast! Nice courtyard. Workout room sufficient, and loved the fact that free water bottles were available everywhere and particularly the delicious fruit and veggie water in the lobby! Staff was great always made sure our needs were met. I would definitely recommend to friends and family! Our package that included parking, breakfast and all made it a great value! Thank you to all the hotel staff! You made it easy to be comfortable!

Great hotel for the price. Location is excellent. Breakfast was fresh and complimentary, Higher quality than your typical waffle bar chain hotel

My only complaint is the design of the hotel courtyard causes voices to reverberate. I was awoken to housekeeping talking to each other across the courtyard outside my room at 730 am

Hotel Mazarin is a lovely, charming hotel, that fits in with character of French Quarter. It is in a great location, just around the corner from Bourbon St, but far enough to escape direct noise. Easy walking to many New Orleans sights. Superior King room was charming, very clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff were really friendly and very helpful, during our 5 night stay in early August. Breakfast was fresh and plentful, especially eating in lovely courtyard each morning. Good choice of scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, fresh fruit, varied breads, lovely jams, etc. We stayed in Room 307, overlooking the courtyard. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

We decided to take a 4 day getaway to New Orleans and found this hotel through TA. What a terrific location and property! The staff was warm and attentive, even providing extraordinary service with no expectations of tips. The breakfast staff (Joe and Rodnee) were fantastic and truly warm individuals -- they made our trip even more special with their kindness and personal service.

Pros: The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable making for a great night sleep. All the staff are very warm and friendly. Refrigerator in the room (although it was a little small). The location is perfect for seeing all of the city. Bathroom is modern and well maintained.

Cons: Noises from the hall carry into the rooms due to the tile floors. Costly for parking (but it is the French Quarter!).
