We loved the Hotel Mazarin! The location in the French Quarter was great, all the staff were very friendly and as helpful as could be while still be professional. The rooms were newly remodeled, comfortable, quiet and well done in dark marble. The Front Desk Manager, Elliot Ferran, was especially helpful and hospitable to us. We stayed there for five nights during this year's French Quarter Festival. Our room was on the third floor, room 312, and we never heard any noise. It overlooked the courtyard.

The Mazarin offered a full breakfast daily and it's really good. Every morning there was bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, fresh fruit salad, three types of juice, scones, toast, yogurt, croissants, you name it. We always ate in the open air courtyard, but you could eat inside if you wanted to. There was a wonderful waiter at breakfast from Chile, Luis, that was always there to open the door when I went inside for more coffee!

We visited the bar once and it was quiet but satisfied our needs for a cocktail with the two other couples we were with.

We hope to stay there again next year, when we head back for the French Quarter Festival.
I'd highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Mazarin. In the past in NOLA we have stayed at the Ritz Carlton, The Chateau and Le Pavilion. We liked the Mazarin and its location the best.

Room Tip: We didn't have a room with a balcony. I think it might have been fun but also would have increa...

Just returned from French Quarter Fest. We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Mazarin. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. The location is fabulous - right between Bourbon & Royal. They give you a very nice hot breakfast daily. The bed was comfy and the rooms are up to date and modern. Nice courtyard to spend the evening enjoying the fresh air and sounds of New Orleans with a glass of wine. Fruit infused water waiting for your refreshment after your adventures in town. Also bottled water in the mini-fridge in your room, replenished daily. We'd recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy The French Quarter.

We stayed at the Hotel Mazarin for three nights to take in the sights and sounds of the French Quarter Festival. We had an amazing time. Great location! The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the wine bar every night. We also loved relaxing in the beautiful courtyard. We have visited New Orleans many times and lived there for awhile. The Hotel Mazarin was just what we were looking for. If you want a wonderful French Quarter experience enjoy the Hotel Mazarin.

We were very happy that we had picked this hotel. It was rated good on TripAdvisor but it was much better than we could have hoped for. Rooms are very modern, comfortable, and clean. We stayed on the 4th floor which was nice and quiet. The free breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, toast & pastry options. Breakfast was delicious and provided great value. There is also a nice little wine bar attached to the property - was a nice way to end the day. Kudos to the staff who were all friendly and helpful. Great hotel in a great location close to everything in the French Quarter.

We were so glad our room was toward the back- during the French Quarter Fest Bourbon St just didn't stop... Still woke us a couple of times with police sirens or screaming. Having said that, the location was super handy for wandering around the Qtr. the breakfast was great and they even cooked some eggs separately for my wife who is dairy intolerant so couldn't st the normal scrambled eggs they made. We stayed in the petite room and it was by no means small- good size room, king bed and large shower- all of high quality. The internet was pretty slow and gym had just a few machines but was ok for a quick workout.

Great Hotel! It's located in the heart of the French Quarter, but what made our stay so special was the friendly yet professional service, the delicious breakfast, the upscale, clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Louis and the welcoming and helpful bellman added to the pleasantness of the hotel. The courtyard was beautiful and a great place to have breakfast or relax with a drink from the bar next door. Your staff and wonderful hotel added to the enjoyment of our New Orleans adventure. Thank you!

All the right pieces are here - location, ambiance, comfort. good staff. Small, intimate property with good continental breakfast. Rooms recently redone are clean and well designed. This is an open air atrium layout and you would expect more street noise but we did not hear it. However outside "hallways' are not carpeted and partyers and late arriving customers with rolling luggage can wake up everyone on the floor level so bring ear plugs just in case. Even though it is New Orleans after all - the Hotel could employ some efforts to curb this. Otherwise great place. We were three couples and all would return and recommend.
Interestingly the(same) room rate was not constant for our mid week stay (Tues, Wed, Thurs was $261,$189,$324 respectively, plus tax)
