I recently traveled to New Orleans for a wedding. We were late on booking with the other wedding guests and missed out on the discounted block of rooms at the Omni- and lucky that we did because we would have never stumbled across Hotel Mazarin.
We found it on Expedia for a GREAT price.
Perfect Location
Friendly Staff and Room Service
Sexy Showers
Delicious Complimentary Breakfast till noon
Spacious, clean room with comfortable bed!
Beautiful lobby and courtyard
More than we could have asked for on our weekend trip.
THANKS HOTEL MAZARIN! see you next time for sure.

This was my first stay at Hotel Mazarin. It is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. The hotel is about a half a block off of Bourbon Street, but you would never know because you cannot hear any of the noise. The staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful. Access to cabs and restaurants is very convenient due to the hotel's location. I definitely plan to use the Hotel Mazarin as my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay in New Orleans (which is a few times a year).

Hotel Mazarin is located half a block from Bourbon street, but it is quiet, clean and luxurious. We stayed for 4 nights in Jan 2013. It is very convenient for walking, nearby to street cars, buses, and taxi's are on the street all the time. We had rooms in the back courtyard where it is very quiet. Beds and bedding were super. Our rooms had only showers, but great ones! Free wifi, free breakfast and nice bar in the facility.

Room Tip: Back courtyard is extremely quiet.

I'm ashamed to say I waited this long to review this hotel- our stay in June 2012 was really one to remember. I don't have a bad thing to say about it-- from the super helpful staff at the front recommending restaurants (they even gave me a $20 gift card to a really nice store as I was passing the front desk one day for absolutely no reason!), to the water with mixed fruits in it always available, to the live jazz band one afternoon in the courtyard, it was a flawless stay. I plan to go back to new orleans one day, and I plan to stay here again!

One night stay during Sugar Bowl. Great location - 1 block from Bourbon St. Nice and quiet, however. Rooms were well appointed and plenty nice. Valet parking was nice and convenient although a bit slow on checkout. Breakfast was very nice for a complimentary Bfast. Got a decent deal on Hotels.com. Would stay again

My husband, 4 yr old daughter and I stayed for 4 nites in mid-December and had a fabulous stay. Great French Quarter location and even though it was right off of Bourbon St, the hotel was well secluded and relatively quiet. The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile and were eager to help make our stay a good one. The complimentary daily breakfast buffet was a welcome perk. In addition to the usual fruit, cereal, muffins, etc. we enjoyed hot eggs, sausage, bacon and grits. The kitchen manager even specially made a pancake for our daughter each morning.

I was initially concerned with the marble floors and no bath (shower only) in the room but the comfy bed and ample size walk-in shower made up for it.

Great stay and we'll definitley be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Mazarin! Just 20 minutes from the airport! Greeted as we walked by very friendly staff! Hotel was meticulous, beds were comfortable, with great towels and toiletries. Breakfast was much more than expected - with fresh fruit that was delicious. Exercise room and business center with computers and a printer to print out boarding passes, etc.Good location and in walking distance to everything. Loved Bar Vin! It is tucked away, very cozy, great bartenders, and reasonably priced. Great appreciation for how all of the staff were happy and did their best to accomodate. Terrific New Orleans experience!
