This hotel is a fantastic place to stay in New Orleans. It is right in the French Quarter. But don't bother with the breakfast: that was terrible. The staff was wonderful, the room really nice, and everything else was perfect.

Room Tip: Get a back room on a high floor if you want a quiet night's sleep.

Very nice hotel in a wonderful location. Easy walking distance to all the FQ activities.
Very nice staff, beautiful room, delicious breakfast. It was my first visit to New Orleans and I could not have asked for a better introduction to the French Quarter.

We loved this hotel. Staff was great, breakfast was great and the rooms were perfect. The location could not have been any better. You are as close as you can get to Bourbon St without being right on it. You can have great time and then go back to your room for a nice quiet night of sleep. It was a great value and when I go back I will definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased to read such a positive comment on Hotel Mazarin. Being between Royal and Bourbon Streets puts you steps away from all of the attractions. Our staff is hand-picked by management to ensure the highest level of guest service. Our Chef and her team take pride in the complimentary breakfast served daily. Thanks again for your review about Hotel Mazarin and hope to see you again soon.

Usually stay in a B&B when we come to the city but decide to find a more centrally located place for our short stay (one night) and decided to take your recommendation on the Mazarin and could not have been more pleased. We selected the petite King which was quite adequate for a short visit with a large bathroom to compliment the smaller sleeping quarters. The bed was extremely comfortable with great bedding.

The breakfast had both cold and hot selections that were included in the price of the room. The eating area looked out onto a beautiful courtyard which had tables for you to eat at if you so chose to do so.

Room Tip: Petite king rooms are in the rear with its own courtyard and offer a more secluded and quiet area...

We stayed at the Hotel Mazarin over Halloween and had a great experience. The hotel has recently been reovated and has new furniture and beds. All are very nice. The breakfast in the courtyard is very good with both hot and cold choices. We had two minor problens and the staff was in our room within 5 minutes. We will stay there again.

This place has loads of N.O. charm with a beautiful courtyards, nice lobby and large pretty rooms. We were greeted and treated warmly. We had pretty big issue with housekeeping, but when we brought it to the attention to the manager we were treated with compassion and respect. In addition, they generously compensated us for our trouble. I think it says something about the staff if they know when to apologize, how to respond to a negative situation and make you feel like they truly hear your concerns. The breakfast was hot and fresh (eggs, grits, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, breads, whole fruit, juice/teas/coffee, croissants, etc. Water bottles in rooms were complimentary. The beds/pillows/linens were luxurious and we slept beautifully. No room service but there is a nice bar attached to the hotel. Prime location between Royal and Bourbon. Near lots of great restaurants. There was a wedding while we were there and the music was loud (it didn't go too late), but it was wonderful…we propped our door open and enjoyed it. That's part of the charm of N.O. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: We were near the courtyard and we slept well.
