“Best spot in French Quarter”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Loved the full breakfast every morning and staff was super friendly. Clean rooms. Only complaint would be the parking fees which are the norm for the area so it's not their fault. The location is prob the best of the best because it's a 20 step walk to bourbon street!!!

We visited New Orleans in November 2012 for a five day stay. We found hotel Mazarin to be a beautiful hotel. The room was lovely and the breakfast delicious (and included in our very reasonable rate). The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and gave us heaps of really good tips for places to go and things to see. One of the highlights is the gorgeous little bar attached to the hotel named Patricks Bar Vin and Zoe who runs it does a wonderful job and makes the best cocktails!! It is a peaceful little haven a few steps from bustling bourbon street. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Elliott and Larry ( front desk), Ada (breakfast room), Renee and Soloman ( bell men) and the rest of the staff were exceptional . Our rooms were beautiful and we loved our balcony. We usually travel to New Orleans twice a year and Hotel Mazarin will be our first and only choice.

Newly renovated and beautiful, Hotel Mazarin is a wonderful addition to the French Quarter. And located between Rue Bourbon and Rue Royal, it's convenient to nightlife, leisurely shopping and Jackson Square and the Riverwalk. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it's bar and were served one of the best Sazeracs in town, in our opinion. Best of all, the staff was helpful, available, and oh so friendly.

Room Tip: We were in Room 225. Very quiet (away from the street). And we had a small sitting area just outside...

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Mazarin while visiting our son at Tulane. We requested and received an interior courtyard room. While there was a little noise from Bourbon Street, it was very much in the background and didn't prevent us from sleeping comfortably. In addition, on both nights of our stay, there was a reception in the courtyard of the hotel, which made us a little nervous from a noise perspective. However, both events ended by 10 and the attendees had left before 11, so we were totally unbothered by those events. The room was terrific - comfortable bed, excellent appointments, and (somewhat rare in many hotels) superior lighting. An excellent breakfast accompanies the room rate. Lastly, and most importantly, the entire staff was friendly, and extremely helpful, certainly the most accommodating staff we have encountered at a NOLA hotel or bed and breakfast. Overall, we have stayed in at least 7 or 8 hotels in the Quarter and this experience was by far the best.

Room Tip: Interior courtyard rooms are quieter than rooms fronting on the street; much less noise from Bourbon...

Just returning from a 4 night stay in New Orleans. We greatly enjoyed our stay at hotel Mazarin. It is less than a block from bourbon street and easy walking distance to Jackson square and lots of great bars and restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe king and it was very spacious and well appointed. There were a lot of nice touches such as robes, bottled water and a fantastic breakfast. The courtyard area was very pleasant for breakfast or just to enjoy. I would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return!

We were at the Hotel Mazarin for Halloween. Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are very nice, the location is excellent, and the staff went out of their way to be nice and helpful. I do not have one complaint.

Room Tip: We had a room with a balcony. it was fun to step out and see what was going on. The room was spa...
